Is pepper healthy? I always assumed it was.

I have heard that if you can taste the salt, that is not a problem because it is just a (relatively) small amount on the surface. It is when you cannot taste the salt, that you need to worry. Pre-packaged dinners, especially macaroni and cheese, are horrible in the sodium department.

absolutely, when I feel the need for some seasoning...pepper and maybe some sea salt if I really feel the dish calls for it.

us old guys cant do lots of salt, it just makes you feel funky.
