We can have an intermission with you and BJ duking it out... all-out slugfest on the balcony... roll down the stairs tugging at each other, etc... a'la Miller Lite catfight...
While "Maybe, Maybe No" has clout here and is a good one, I still liked "Reasonably Doubtful" better. kudos on things progressing though.
Congrats on making the movie. May I suggest your next movie be a lighthearted romantic comedy called: Its Summer People Supposed to get Horny!
checking the old thread, I correct my answer to "Doubtfully Reasonable". Yeah, I suppose it's too late... but still I thought they were both as good as "Maybe, Maybe No" barring the appeal of ClutchFans Lore.
That name, and many others suggested, implied too much of a courtroom setting to me. The movie is more of a detective story. The original idea was something in the vein of the old The Thin Man movies, though it morphed a bit from there. Heck, the whole thing morphed quite a bit. I started last year thinking I'd crap out three cheap-o movies over the course of the year (it was part of a wager that I lost big time) just for practice and fun. But the further I got into it, the more I liked what I had. Liked it enough to not want to just throw it away on a cheap-o throwaway movie. So, I abandoned the three crappy movies thing and started putting together some money with the hopes that I could do something worthwhile. So now I've got the money, and I've got some people and we're, hopefully, going to put on a show. We're currently set to shoot the thing this coming summer. It will have a release of some sort. How big depends on a number of factors. I anticipate a small theatrical run followed by a DVD/BluRay release followed by a Pay television run. But that could certainly change. Everything is always subject to falling apart completely. Crap. Where were you a couple of months ago. Ted McGinley would've been excellent. The ex-boyfriend is played by someone I think most people would recognize from his previous television work, though.
Not meant as a jab, purely humor. I know these things can take a lot of time. Good luck on the movie.
Just remember "Delgo." I knew the dumbass who created this for a few years and would have slapped the crap out of him with his marketing idiocy. The movie was "meh" but the marketing was so stupid it needs to be researched so future generations don't do the same thing.
