That must have been the least impactful 26/26 game I've ever seen from Al Jefferson.

everyone deserved some blame tonight, who didnt miss free throws? So many could hace iced it. It's pointless to blame anyone after this game, more than anything it showed they were tired, they missed layups throughout the whole game. He went with vets, considering we pulled it out I can't say it was a bad decision.

Well, Ellington and Brewer (Brewer until the last minutes anyway) were both in the game, and both hit shots to extend the game. Adelman wasn't going to take any chances, it seems.

Also, Battier made good plays on Jefferson in certain parts of the game.

It wasn't that Adelman didn't want us to not be offensive...its that he didn't want THEM to be offensive.

This theory was addressed in another thread. The overall conclusion was that the man does not sweat. It's science.

Why were Budinger's minutes so limited this game though?

I can understand why in OT they may be, but 5 minutes in the whole game?

    Jeez.

I know your keyboard is broken, so go ahead and throw it out. And don't bother getting another one.

We managed to score less than 18 points a quarter. That's less than a basket a minute. and we won. Tough stretch of the season begins.

probably not the best thing for budinger to play so much back to back after coming off an ankle sprain..they mentioned last night he's still not healed, just good enough to play...

Both were playing pretty good defense, and Ariza wasn't bad on offense tonight. The ball was moving pretty well in the 1st quarter with both of them in there.

And this is from someone who hates the Battriza combo.

Did you see the 5 minutes he played? The bench was horrible outside of Landry tonight. Literally the Rockets were nearly up by 25+ points at the end of the first quarter and because of the bench's first minutes they were with 3-4 buckets from taking the lead. Adelman is the sort of coach that if you aren't doing some scoring or playing good enough defense, he has no problem benching them.
