Hate 'em. The refined elegance of Euro engineering for me. BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, Lambourghini.

I've seen one example like that. I saw a Mustang with a Type R sticker on it. That doesn't make sense. I might as well put 5.0 Cobra on a Civic. I actually drive an import myself. I don't do the "riced out" deal. I'd rather work on the engine. Every car has potential though and you see that at the track. I do agree with whoever said that it's the drivers who make the cars look bad. I see idiots driving imports and domestics. For instance, I'll be on my way to buy groceries. I have imports and domestics rev up and try to race me just b/c mine looks very, very plain. When I take them, they ask what do I have? I just say an intake with holes in it! Haha! :D

This is my answer to Lynus Crappy Mustang. OK, just kidding Lynus. Calm down man.

Anyhow, I despise the ricers as much as anything. I dont necessarily hate the cars as much the attitude. I hear them at Sonic when they gather...."Dude, that big fatty exhaust must of given you at least a 20 horse power gain" When in all actuality most of those coffee cans cause a reduction in power due to a lack of back pressure. Fake gauges, big non functioning wings, fake badging, putting slower bigger tires on their car, putting heavy ground kits on them. Id be alright with it if they realized all theyve done is slowed their car down. But try telling them that.

Now can someone please tell me how to post a picture on here if its from my hard drive? OR better yet a small movie clip. I have this hilarious MATRIX clip that made me lose my mind Id love to share with you guys.

Man, I'm so sad that the Camaro/Firebird is going out of production. Farewell, worthy adversary.

In truth, yeah, I'm a "Ford guy," but I'm really a "car guy" more than anything.

I bought my car in 1994, and I nearly bought a Camaro instead as I was jealous of the 6-Speed and that 275 bhp. In the end, I got what I always wanted in the Mustang. Ford's a family tradition anyway.

Someday Dreamshake, look out. As soon as I can afford it.....serious plans are in the works.

The stupidist part about the street racers is that when offered the chance to go race at a real strip, they don't wanna do that..

"Oh no, I don't wanna go all the way out there to race. I would rather endanger human life on the streets!" Stupid little punks.

-you said that a NSX could outdrag American Muscle

-you said that Mustangs have v-8's and the nsx only has a v-6.

Thus making the comparison that it has a smaller engine with better performance, but leaving out the fact that it is 3x-4x as expensive...

    or did I misunderstand you?

how many Camaros are there for every NSX one sees on the road?

Yes, it is about 3 to 4 times more cash. It's rare to see one out there.

I can't say I know where NSX's are made, but I can assume that it's made in Japan. That might take some cash to get over here from the Pacific.

It's like at your Senior Prom and youre a female. You don't want to be wearing the same Prom dress.

The NSX vx. Camaro isn't a fair comparison because of several factors:

    1) price = 90K vs. 28K
    2) engine size = v6 vtec vs. v8
    3) overall car = luxury sports v. sportscar
    4) rarity = only 5000 made per year v lots more per year

besides, owning an NSX is a luxury /sportscar. You wouldn't just take it to race it in straight aways.

And to whoever asked, they are made in Japan. However, if you'd really like to see an NSX , check out the Comptech version supercharger that is v-6 nearly 450 hp.

It's neve gonna be a fair comparison.

It's always apples vs oranges vs plums vs grapes vs watermelons vs mangos vs tangerines.

What do you all think about the NEW Nissan 350Z and the Infinity G35(coupe)?! Those two cars are just begging to be "teched out" when they hit the market!

The new 350Z is one hot machine - it'll be in stores around August. It's been clocked at 5.4 in 0-60 times with a stock engine. Its base price is around $26k all the way up to $34k or so. This is a Porsche Boxster killer. There will obviously be aftermarket parts for this this that'll drop those times below 5 seconds. There are also rumors that Stillen already has a supercharger in R&D for it, and possibly a turbo if the supercharger idea doesn't pan out. The supercharger should add up to 75 hp to the 287 or so HP it already has from what I've reading/hearing. If they go the route of the turbo, the numbers should be insane : on the order of 400-500 hp. If it's like so many other Japanese engines, it should be extremely tunable, too.

The G35 is just a beautiful car to be in. I finally got a chance to ride in one and I'm hooked. A RWD sedan (coupe to be out sometime this September or October timeframe) that flat out hauls ass and does it in luxury. There are at least 1 or 2 people that have the G35 on this BBS.

These cars are #1 and #2 on my list of cars I want for my next vehicle. Beautiful engineering, power, and comfort... all for a relatively inexpensive price. Trust me... Porsche, Audi, and BMW are shakin'. Toyota and Honda still have no idea what hit them. The Nissan BOOM baby!! :D

    Shaddup Dreamshake.... :D

The G35 may be able to perform well on the road. However, it lacks workmanship on the inside. The controls in the middle look very cheap, the sunroof slider is very clumsy, and the window switches stick out akwardly. Infiniti's lack of attention to detail on the inside amazes me. Yet, they still produce a car with no drag coefficient. What gives!?!?!

Have you checked out the R35 Skyline GT-R from the Tokyo autoshow? It's targeting the Viper, Ferraris, and Porsches of the world and may be coming to the States... woo hoo. I don't think there are any plans to import the current Skylines to the US, though. Our loss... that is one sweet road machine. It's a shame we don't get to see some of the best cars Japan has to offer. :(

If you REALLY want a Skyline GT-R, the only company authorized to import them to the US currently is Motorex out of Torrence, California. I know they used to run about $90k, though... so get your wallet out. :D

I'm getting into this discussion a little late as its right up my alley. I love all cars that are well done (ie) clean mutha flarking lines without all the wal-mart body kits etc. All time fav is the Cobra with Steve McQueens Bullit Mustang a close 2nd. Favorite import is the Rx7 85 gsl-se (of course i'd take a twin t but $ is $)I'm driving a Prelude right now with some bolt on goodies overall just a clean car- no street racer by any means. Ford is getting all the press lately with the GT-40 one of the greatest cars of all time. The new Mustang Cobra is not to be messed with either- Chevy has some catching up to do the corvette looks old and fragile and of course the Camaro is gone for a while (I hope they bring it back with some retro style) - Dodge is pure junk --- yes even the Viper -- I used to have a civic (wrecked) I think they are becoming the mini trucks of the 21st century.
