Other: Curry has been offensively solid, defensively awful. Tyson has disappeared. Amare worked Curry and Tyson over convincingly on Sunday (curry took it right back to him offensively), but the disparity in FT's (36-11) between the two teams say the refs may have played a role there. Lonnie Baxter has played well in extremely limited time, as has Trent Hassell. I stand by my prediction of more gruff 1st half play, but an absolutely inspired and brilliant second half of the season. Furthur in the future, me thinks Hassell will eventually be the starter...with JC auctioned off for 3...
Bulls just got blown out by the Nuggets. And JWill is having a 1:2 assist/TO ratio. It seems that JWill will help the bulls to remain in the lottery.
First of all, the only reason the Bulls may be having any success is because all their good players (minus Rose and a couple others) are playing in the summer league against total scrubs. They will not be good next year. And the year after that. And the year after that...
ever hear of transitive properties? I ve tried telling everyone that griffin is better than chandler or curry and bulls fans want to kill me,. Yet the same bulls fans admit amare worked over curry and chandler well newsflash: griffin WORKED over amare to the point it was embaressing so,transitive griffin>amare amare>gooden amare>curry amare>chandler GRIFFIN>all of the above!!!!
Whoa whoa whoa...lol Ease up. It's summer league---and a vastly different beast than the regular season NBA will be. The TO's say two things: An eyewitness says that the players havn't adjusted to him and miss a lot passes thrown their way. And we all knew that he'd have some adjusting to do with the longer quicker guards in the league---. To say the Bulls will never make the playoffs with the potential this team posesses is pretty mindless in my book.
i think the year after this, the bulls are gonna be pretty scary... five: curry four: chandler three: rose two: hassell one: williams with crawford playing combo guard. but while this team looks great on paper, a lot hinges on development / chemistry lalalaa... still think they're gonna ball though.
Back in the days, I used to love the Bulls: Tom Boerwinkle, Bob Love, Chet Walker, Jerry Sloan, and Norm Van Lier. YOu have to admit that Curry, Chandler, Fizer, Rose, Williams, Hassell, and Crawford are a great young nucleus.
Wow I wouldn't have thought this could happen: The Grizzlies with a starting line-up of Gooden, Eddie Gill, Fred House, Gordan Giricek, and Cezary Trybanski beat the Bulls 92-83 w/ the Bulls starting Chandler, Curry, Jay Williams, Hassell, and Crawford. link
Lol, and they got blown out by 25 by Toronto. They could pass this off as nothing if they didn't have the majority of their talent on the floor. Here's the box: http://www.proexposure.com/stories/0726p.cfm Look for them to be in the bottom 3 again for sure this year.
GB That has to be a bit of worry. Williams, Crawford, Curry and Chandler should be doing a fair bit better in summer league games than that. Chandler and Curry should be dominating at that level IF they are to be future all stars.
