Thought it might be an interesting look, with the dunking contest coming closer. <object width="388" height="394" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="ep"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=nba&videoId=channels/nba_tv/2010/01/12/20100112_lebron_jump.nba" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><embed src="http://i.cdn.turner.com/nba/nba/.element/swf/1.1/cvp/nba_embed_container.swf?context=nba&videoId=channels/nba_tv/2010/01/12/20100112_lebron_jump.nba" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" bgcolor="#000000" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="388" wmode="transparent" height="394"></embed></object> http://www.nba.com/video/channels/nba_tv/2010/01/12/20100112_lebron_jump.nba/?ls=iref:nbahpt1
So is there any word on whether LeBron will be good on his word and actually enter in the dunk comp? I bet he won't... Why get on the mic and try and steal the shine of D Howard last year by saying he can dunk on a 13 ft rim or whatever....ego maniac...

10' goal, minus 6'8" Lebron James = 40 inch vertical. He's not the first guy in the league with a 40 inch vertical.
Watch @:21 dude get's up so effortlessly, not only that but he covered so much ground hence the nickname. Phi Slamma Jamma Clyde had some of the sickest in game dunks you've ever seen. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hrXzuix_qvY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hrXzuix_qvY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I saw this live and couldn't believe he even caught it. Freak athlete. He's so damn fast and explosive.
Yes but we are talking about like 5 players that are able to do that in a game, i replied to him because he basically said it´s ordinary and many players are capable of it.
Keep in mind he is straight up and down or stretching his neck. I think it's safe to say he could get his head much higher than that if that is all he was trying to do.
So, what's the argument here? Are you alleging that Lebron James can jump higher than any other NBA player? Is that what we're trying to prove? Yes, he's freakishly athletic. He's well above average on athleticism in the league. I grant that. Why get offended or attempt to deny that there are other athletic freaks in this league that could make the jump he just made? Where is James White's thread about how he jumped really high to make a catch (even though he failed to complete the play)?
I hear Wilt Chamberlain had a 50" vertical.... i don't buy it but that's what all the senior citizens say. Didn't Francis have like a 48'' vertical? although he was only 6'4 how about this guy? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CJAIyXQ5wNU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CJAIyXQ5wNU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
