It seems the handling of double teams and other type of pressure is the next step in Landry's development. If he ever masters that, he'd be extremely dangerous... All Star dangerous.

Currently, Carl Landry is essentially Bonzi Wells after injecting performance enhancing drugs.

If Landry learns the fine art of finding high percentage field goal attempts for his teammates, while being guarded by two opponents, then he will have earned raj's seal of greatness.

scared me for a sec with that title. If Landry can grow another 3 inches and gain 8 inches in vertical, pack on 50 pounds of pure muscle, he will be better than Dwight.

Add a 1 in front of all those numbers and I'll be better than Dwight.

    Deceptive title scared me.

Landry still has a ton of room to grow, and passing out of double-teams is just another step in his growth. The great thing about him is that he seems to genuinely want to continually improve his game, knows what needs improvement, and enjoys trying to be better. Dude has future All-Star written all over him, if you ask me.

Landry's field goal percentage is .571. He ranks 6th in the NBA. I would rather have him shoot it with two guys on him than to pass to than to pass it out to Ariza, Lowry, or Battier.

serious? I'd much rather see an open 3 from any of those guys fall than Carl hurt himself or get his **** swatted or get ripped or just miss b/c of the pressure defense.

He hasnt been doubled much this year. I can guarntee you that when he starts seeing more doubles, his % will go down. Unless you're Kobe or James, you get rid of the ball on a double team.

I'm assuming you don't know how to play ball with that comment.

I think part of why he has such a high percentage is that he isn't forcing shots up in the face of double teams but playing in the flow of the game. As he gets more attention from the D he is going to face more double teams and not get as many high percentage shots.

Anway even Dream passed out of double teams. How do you think Kenny Smith, MadMax and Horry got so many 3 pointers.

ABSOLUTELY!! The line of thinking CL has here is exactly the way superstars think. I can't wait for the years to come

My thoughts exactly, you keep seeing Brooks and Landry do great on 1 on 1 situations but, when they try taking it in on double or triple teams, that is when we have issues.
