I was listening to sports radio and one of the guys said that Charlie Weis had broken a man code by mentioning Pete Carrol living with a grad student in Malibu. The idea was that even if it wasn't true, Weis threw a peer under the bus to deflect negative attention from himself. How can you tell if you've broken the man code? What are some hard and fast 'code' laws that are unbreakable?
Well for one if your boy is messing with more than one chick you dont go off telling one of the girls As far as telling of you've broken a man code well YOU JUST KNOW
Don't Look at another man's rhubarb in a bathroom stall. Don't cockblock another dude unless he is with your girlfriend or wife. Then, it is totally manly to shoot him or beat him with a club (or sell her away for gold pieces or a sack of bones). That's how cavemen and pre-modern men settled things. Beyond that, you let the dude have his space, and make sure he does the same for you. No snitching . . .unless it is a life or death situation (or some kid is being molested) . . . The only thing worse in prison are cops and lawyers and what just mentioned above. You have to hate Oprah Show (and all of spinoffs, but Rachael Ray is ok ) No purses, dude. What the hell does guy need purse for? Tiger Woods shouldn't be crying unless it is about his money, he is officially one of the coolest men on the planet. Now, if he could tell some of these critics to grow...a .... pai...spine and endorse their inner manliness.
Yes, he did. But, Kobe's was much worse. He did it, while being interrogated by the police for a possible felony and to top things off what Shaq allegedly did wasn't against the law. He also threw Andrew Bynum under the bus about three summers later. It's one of the biggest reasons I don't like Kobe, he's *****in' snitch and a rat. He's throwing the same guys that would carry him off the court, during an injury or help his @ss to a championship. Now, Greg Anderson, Barry Bonds's former trainer, that guy I can admire. Two more man codes can observed from this: A - When you are in trouble, do not tell on your friends, buddies, brothers, family members, or another man (even if he is perfect stranger)...accept your responsibility without throwing others under the bus. B - If another man (whehter he is married or single) is paying girls/jumpoffs/groupies/call girls or cocktail waitress off to keep their mouths close or is paying women for sex period, you don't say anything about it (not one word) and worry about your own rhubarb.
