    The chinese gov't are a bunch of idiots, instead of relying on one player like Yao to help them win games, they should focuse on developing younger players. They finally learn after running Yao through the ground.

    thats good news, but its only cuz yao is recovering. when he is fully healthy, yao's gonna have to play again.

    I just hope Yao can come back and somewhat be the player he once was. Because if we don't get anything good for T-Mac (which is likely to happen) we need a go to scorer in the 4th besides Landry.

    Not good news for the weak national team,but a good decision for clutchcity and YAO`s career,looking forward to seeing a healthy YAO in next season.

    He would be crazy to play for the national team ever again.

    He needs to play for a NBA team

    Without Yao, China's A team is good enough to finish 1st to third in Asia..I think this would be beneficial for China...they need to develop their other players and also build their confidence....

    They can do all the development they want, but other countries just have better players.
