Blackjack - 15 hit or stand? (no dealer involved)?

Actually not 50 % --- there are 5 cards that the oppenent could have between 2-6. but 8 cards (since the face cards have to be reckoned for) that would be between 7-A. therefore if you can't see your opponents cards, then you should hit, since statistically a random card picked as a show card would have more likely a chance to be 7 or above.

and btw, if your 15 is a soft 15 then of course hit...


(oh yeah, i live in vegas and so i've done the math many, many times sitting at tables)
