AB is a good scoring point guard, there are many like him in the NBA, easy to find, so I don't value him as high.

Landry is an undersized PF who gets things done, he will never dominate a game for you, or be the go to guy.

A team can trade consecutive first round picks but not consecutive "future" first round picks.

No: Team A trades 2009 + 2010 1stR picks in the same season

    Yes: Team A trades 2009 1stR pick
    After 2009 draft, Team A trades 2010 1stR pick

Definitely, but he is probably the only GM in the league that would pull the trigger without some sort of guarantee.

So you don't deny that it happens. We're quit different. I stopped posting who I was repping a long time ago, because I found that kind of public behavior distasteful (trying to get rep from members), and something that shouldn't be encouraged. So we disagree. Don't misunderstand. I like the idea, I enjoy getting repped by members for something I wrote that they enjoyed and/or agreed with, and I sign the reps I give out, because I like knowing who gives them to me and figure the reverse is true. But making it public, in my opinion, encourages that "sucking up" I mentioned. At least in my opinion.

On topic, I sure would like to get Bosh.

Will Conroy was recently traded out our D-league affiliate.... That should give us a good indication what position will be traded. Also the fact that DM has said several times in the past week that not one person on our team is upgradeable..

Brooks + Landry + Pick for Bosh ... Do it DM.. Then we package T-mac for the Iggy and Dalembert trade and we look a lot better..

If we can somehow package Scola before Landry I would do it in a heartbeat..

Its the same stuff from Stein BUT an interesting note at the end by Bucher...

So "Frontline Help" would probably mean Landry and/or Scola along with the possibility of Brooks for their 2 spot...I know Brooks is a PG but he plays much more like a 2 anyway.

If they need someone temporarily, they can always pick up Will Conley, who plays for the Vipers in D-League and who was part of the Rockets summer league team.

hahahhaha that was hilarious! You could actually SEE the emotional rollercoaster you went on...all excited in the earlier pages about the potential arrival of Wafer, a little anger and disbelief at the page 21 mark with that obscene, "untrue" failed physical remark, a little more anger further down the page, then finally the heartbreak on page 22 with the realization it truly all was too good to be true as you were probably in the middle of putting up Von Wafer posters on your wall

Regarding Bosh to Houston, perhaps the Hornets could be a 3rd team in any trade. They are looking to cut salary. Maybe to facilitate a trade they could move David West or Emeka Okafor to Toronto since Toronto is looking for frontline help. Not sure what they would get back but wanted to throw that out there. Rockets probably would take on a bad contract (Peterson etc or Peja if the deal is large enough. Both have one more year on their deals) in the deal.

That alleged Chicago package - Hinrich, Thomas and a pick - isn't bad for Toronto.

Does a Houston package with Landry as the centerpiece top that? Hmm.

Damnnn, check out Scola in that pic! you got a bottomless one of him in there too?

Thanks for helping me prove my point, that when given an environment to succeed, he is able to WIN! Argentina is a World Powerhouse, as you can tell by all those medals, and The U.S. knocked off that World Powerhouse in the semifinals in 2008.

Okafor would work, even though he's born in Houston, TX, his name sounds foreign enough for him to fit in Toronto.

Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks have names that are too American to fit Toronto's needs. Rockets will have to transfer to Toronto the draft rights to Eliyahu and Llull in order to make the foreigness cap figures match.

I love Chris Bosh. I hope we can keep Landry in any scenario. Landry and Bosh would work very well together I think.

If this is the best offer Toronto is getting, then Houston is in the driver's seat.

Heinrich is an above average veteran guard. He's spot could easily be offset by including someone like Battier. Tyrus Thomas is still super athletic, but not much for all around basketball skills. He's been a let down as a lottery pick. The center piece would be Chicago's lottery pick, but those aren't a sure thing either.

If that's what we're competing against, then it doesn't look like there's any compelling reason to offer both Brooks and Landry. Either one of those guys would be better than any player in the Chicago offer and much safer than their lottery pick around the #10 spot.

If it only takes one of Brooks and Landry to acquire Bosh, then I think you have to do it if you're the Rockets. I would much rather have a 6-10 perennial all star, 20/10 guy than a 5-10 shoot first point guard with turnover issues.

I like what Landry brings to the table more than Brooks, but he and Bosh will play the same spot when Yao's back. A Bosh/Landry front line would be a tough matchup for anyone though, whether this year or next.

I think both of them are VERY whiny and sensitive. These arguments are so childish.

are u really gonna compare Bosh to KG and Pau.....take those "superstar" glasses off and view chris bosh as what he really is an above average player that puts up big numbers because his team is trash......you guys would really perfer flash over hard working players that give 110% every night???
