And until T Mac is brought before a judge, he is innocent? Oh, and Leopards can change their spots, it's called vitiligo(what Michael Jackson had).

Thank you all for the read guys and for all those who are having trouble reading my original post still please scroll down and my edited / formatted version of the post should be there.

    2nd

I want to point out that I am not some big time T-Mac fan but more so a HOUSTON ROCKETS fan (and for that matter a Houston fan for all the local sports teams period). I want to see what's best for the franchise just like everybody else. The only thing I am mentioning is my opinion of the current situation which is that I don't believe this is the right move for the organization. It's not about whether you love the guy or hate the guy but rather the fact of what is best served for the Houston Rockets organization and I am of the opinion that he would help and I will explain why.

    3rd

The question you all have to ask is what type of team philosophy do you all prefer to have? And as I write this post today I would like to mention that I am of the notion that if you have a shot to win NOW then you do everything in your power to win NOW. Many may disagree. Many may love to play pretend GM and say oh don't sacrfice the future and many may just say you're an idiot for trying to play for NOW. That's ok. I'm just sharing that I'm of the opinion that if you're in it then you have a chance and from the outset of the season I believed inside my heart as the HOUSTON ROCKET fan that I am that we would definitely have a legitimate shot of being in it.

    Lastly

All this being said my problem with the people is they are letting their emotions get a little too involved here (both for and against) and I think people are losing sight of the actual situation. Did T-Mac screw up when playing Toronto last year, yes. Did T-Mac handle the whole situation about his knee surgery wrong last year, yes. Now conversely did the Rockets handle the situation this year with T-Mac wrong, yes. Did the Rockets remain bitter about the situation from last year, yes. Either way no matter who did what a wrong is a wrong is a wrong and it doesn't make it any better to keep fighting fire with fire. Now it comes to this. Our 23 million dollar player who has the capability of supporting our team's cause and is definitely capable of doing so (even at 70-80% if he's not even higher than that) is riding the pine and it is not benefiting the Rockets one bit from both a team standpoint and a trading standpoint. I don't care how bitter you are you can't just let your emotions get in the way of your business and sometimes you just have to swallow your pride. And that pride is Rick Adelman and Daryl Morey saying we don't need T-Mac. Is that true? Probably so. Is it beneficial to have this mentally even if you are 100% completely correct? Absolutely not. We are getting no where for having that mentallity.

    In Conclusion

Let T-Mac rehab. Tell him we're going to give you another go. Give him a REAL shot before the all-star break to see if he could contribute to this team. Hope he shows out in the All-Star Game. Then make a legitimate business decision with no emotions or bittnerness involved from both parties. As long as a proper decision is made I am perfectly fine with whatever the outcome may be. But all I'm saying is people don't say he was given a fair shot at returning this year. He never was and THAT is where my disagreement comes in with the Houston Rocket organization. So with that said please feel free to chime in.

Are you saying you feel more pissed because T-Mac is making the highest salary in the league, and you would feel less pissed if he was being paid the veteran minimum?

    Once again:

    http://clutchfans.net/news/1545/the_day_t-mac_lost_houston/

T-Mac doesn't deserve a second chance. He screwed over the team last year--with the bogus back to back games thing, with the season ending microfracture surgery where he didn't even tell the team, with the refusal to play team ball, with quitting on the team on the court (the Toronto game), with the whining to the media about his playing time this year, with all the drama he created last year, etc. etc.

It's not even three strikes and you're out at this point. It's more like a dozen. This is like one of those horror stories where you hear about your friend and his crazy girlfriend--she cheats on him and he takes her back, she steals his stuff and sells it and he takes her back, she cheats on him again, wrecks his car, and so on ad nauseum. For the love of God, T-Mac's done. Even if the Rockets can't trade him he's never going to put on a Houston uniform again.

It´s like he said, some of you are really lettin your frustration speak instead of logics.
T-Mac could be a big contributor this year and is the best player we can have along with Yao.Both of them healthy would possibly be the best duo in the league and max our chance of winning a championship in the next years.
T-Mac leaving would lead to Yao having to play in a system he wouldn´t fit in. Yao relies on a player penetrating and opening space, which no one on the current team is able to. T-Mac gave 100% when he played here and would´ve contributed with all he can in the future. If you let him go, you have to trade Yao too, cause that team wouldn´t work.

TMac is very similar to Scott Pippen in IQs. Tmac has good BB IQ but terrible IQ and EQ. He should be patient to wait his time come.

Yes, I agree OP's opinion. If Tmac is relative health, he's the type of the guy who Rockets need now. I don't see any one Rockets had a real shot can be a better fit than him -- Unless Chris Paul suddenly available.

So I hope Tmac won't give up and keep his condition better and can contribute in the second season. Just coach RA and Tmac need to get over their egos.

Everyone here suddenly has amnesia. T-Mac wasn't penetrating. Everyone here was griping last year that all he would do was take outside jumpers. Brooks and Lowry are the guys who break down defenses.

T-Mac and Yao never worked out. It's over. Just give it a rest already.
