And that would be a tremendous risk too. Imagine we trade those two players, and Bosh goes elsewhere this summer.

Hopefully Toronto's Euro-fetish will compel to accept Scola instead.

Yeah I would not risk it. If we can somehow can get Bosh to commit to Houston beyond this season, but losing AB and Landry is too much of a risk at this point..

    Rockets send: TMac, Landry
    Rockets get: Bosh, Jack, Blake

Knicks send: Curry, Mobley's contract, Chandler
    Knicks get: TMac, 2010 2nd

    Raptors send: Bosh, Jack, Nesterovic
Raptors get: Landry, Curry, Mobley's contract

    Blazers send: Blake, 2010 2nd
    Blazers get: Chandler, Nesterovic

We get Bosh and complementary pieces that allow more 2 PG lineups at times.

Knicks get rid of Curry, and start rebuilding.

Raptors get something for Bosh and an expiring chunk, at the cost of taking on Curry's contract.

Blazers shore up the middle with short-term contracts and create playing time for their young guards.

Battier+Scola+Cook for Bosh would be lovely, I think, and possible.

The Raptors would get a replacement for Bosh with Scola who isn't quite as good, but is a quality player. They also get a perimeter defender which the need badly, and a nice little expiring gem with Cook (and Scola).

A deal for Bosh will NOT involve McGrady because it makes little sense for the Raptors to trade one productive player with an expiring contract for an unproductive player with an expiring contract.

Remember that both Landry and Scola will be free agents next year and will command a lot more salary than what they're getting now, especially Landry.

Only two guys on this team should be built around.

    Landry and Brooks.

    Everyone else is expendable

I do not want them to give up Landry in any deal just to get Bosh.

    So?

By then, hopefully we would have won a championship. If not, then we lose Landry then (after next season).

Chuck I think is safe to stay, Lowry I could see teams wanting to acquire. Im pretty attached to all the players so losing those two would be sad too

You do realize we could stick Bosh at the 5 this year and, if we re-sign him, have him as insurance in the future?

Scola is a free agent. Landry has a team option. Remember that.

Make no mistake about it they will at least get Landry if they deal Bosh. Landry and Brooks might even have to go for that to happen.

I would say for salary numbers they get Landry, of course Cook is a throw in but you have to almost for sure include Arriza. If you can't include Arriza I don't see any deal working. Maybe a 3-way deal. Budinger probably would also be in the mix.

    So somethink like...

Landry, Arriza , Cook, Budinger + 3mil cash and 1st round pick

    for

    Bosh, Weems

Yeah I know... You think that's too much but you can bet Toronto wants more.

I think that would be an impossibility if the rockets try and aquire Bosch.

Some Raptors fans are talking about somehting like this:

Tracy McGrady + Aaron Brooks + Carl Landry

    xxx

    Chris Bosh + Jose Calderon

It is a realistic purpose and I would accept that.

    Calderon / Lowry
    x / Budinger
    Battier - Ariza
    Bosh - Andersen (he's a PF)
    Yao - x

With the MLE you can sign Mike Miller as starting SG, and with the draft pick a backup center. I think this is a championship rotation.

Yao/Bosh/Landry would be the best frontcourt in the league!
