I'm burned out on softball and more generally, playing sports. Maybe it is because I'm 29 now, but for some reason, I can't get into playing softball or any other sports. I had played softball for the last 10 years (ever since I got out of HS) and I used to play like a 100 games or so a year. However, when I got out of graduate school in '97, I got a job that required me to work on Saturdays. That cut down my playing a lot. Also, for some reason since I started working out at the end of January, I just have not gotten into playing it anymore...I rather work out. It is funny because at one time I was convinced that I would play softball until I was 50. Here I have over 20 years left and I'm possibly finished. Oh well, maybe I'll be back at it next season.
i think i'm finally burned out on video games. after decades of playing sports video games on a variety of consoles, i just don't get the same pleasure... i bought a PS2 when they first came out and have only used it a total of 10x in the past 2 years... i bought Madden 2002 and Triple Play 2001 and barely touch them... i think i'm finally too old for them! anyone wanna buy a hardly used console
I'm burned out on baseball strikes. Seriously Manny, I know how you feel. Sometimes in the prime of their "career," many softballers just lose their love for the game. I know I don't miss umpiring anymore.
Hmm Right now, I would have to say Tennis. After playing for so long, it just isn't quite as fun. It could have something to do with my playing with people far more serious about the sport than I am. Hopefully, I will soon be out of this funk. I hope that this never happens with basketball. A few months ago, I was very burned out on school. Thank God for the summer.
I'm burnt out on college as well. I loved the past 4 years here at UT, but man I am ready to move on...I should be partying my ass off as this will be my last month in Austin, but I really haven't been in the mood. I just kind of want to speed things up and get all the goodbye crap over with.
I may have gotten burned out watching the Crocodile Hunter. T watched a lot of episodes this past week and learned that the Animal Planet channel has Saturday Night Steve. Now I don't quite care as much. BTW, Anybody else watch the Crocodile Hunter?
I love the Croc Hunter! Not burnt on him at all! As for me, I'm burnt on the hot weather - all puns intended. I'm ready for fall tomorrow. Unfortunately, got about 8 solid weeks before it even thinks about cooling off.
Drawing. I waited until the night before everything in my Drawing II class was due to finish like six huge projects... I have yet to recover from that 15 hour binge.

I agree about the violence, but you must be kidding about the games, right? I don't think I could ever get burned out. Then again I am rather young.
