He just put out the teaser "Rashard Lewis has made up his mind about where he wants to play and it will change the balance of power in the Western Conference"

Oh no! Say it ain't so! It's Dallas!!! He says they are close to an agreement, but then he left open the possibility that Rashard could sign with another team (like Houston). Is he just speculating, or is this a report?

    dont worry

    francis>nash
    mobley>finley
    nachbar>lewis
    griffin/taylor>nowizki
    ming>lafrenz

Francis and Ming and Griffin are gods.Cuban thinks he can buy a champoinship,NO Way!!!

Nowizti is at his best now, griffins D can stop him.

WE still rock, cuban called ming aligater rms,so I say lets kick the mavs butt!!!!!

Nash is the most overrated player in the nba.Lafrenzt sucks, and was just rewarded a fat contract from cuban.Cuban has NO IDEA what he is doing. If cuban wanted to run and gun,he would trade for odom not lewis.

How can you rate Nachbar over Lewis and you never seen Nachbar play before? You know what Lewis can do but no one knows what Nachbar can do for sure.

I thought the Mav's were going for Bryon Russell. Why would they go for another small foward?

They would have Eduardo Najera, Adrian Griffin, Bryon Russell, and now Rashard Lewis? Not to mention that Dirk and Finley both play the position from time to time.

If they do get Lewis, they are going to have to let one of those guys go? Maybe Eduardo Najera?...

and how exactly does this make Dallas a stronger team again(if true)?

shift balance of power, what a crock. Still, with Baker and Lewis gone ... Seattle's playoff spot may be open for the taking, as if it wasn't already.

That doesn't shift much power. Dallas is allready near the top of the Eastearn Conference. Now if he signs with the Nuggets then.....they will still be the Nuggets.

Thats what I was thinking. If there is a shift in power, then that means Lewis isnt going to Dallas. The shifting of the power comment makes more sense if Lewis is coming to HTown.

Make up your mind Rashard. I heard on the Seattle radio that he was having a meeting with the Sonics GM tomorrow, so maybe we will hear some news tomorrow. I would rather have him stay with the Sonics now that I hear Mark Cuban is trying to lure him to the Big D. I am not familiar with Dallas' payroll but is Rashard is trying to secure a huge long-term contract after his one-year MCE gig, I am quite certain that Dallas is not the right fit. And we all know that he won't be able to showcase his skills with all the All-Stars talent on the MAVS already.

I don't really want to support this thread since it's probably nothing, but espn insider's nba rumor section has the title:

Will Rashard Lewis take his game to Texas?

anyone know if it has anything about dallas?
