We've learned Jay's 10:00 PM show will go on hiatus February 1. After the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot. What has not been decided -- whether Jay's show will be a half hour, followed by Conan, or whether Jay's show will be an hour and NBC says sayonara to Mr. O'Brien.

We're told Jay and Conan have both been told of the changes. As for Jay, interestingly, he'll get what he always wanted -- his 11:30 PM time slot.

Damn if Conan gets knocked off, that'd be pretty messed up.

Wow if I were Conan, I'd get the hell away from NBC.

I like conan, but I don't watch much of his show.

Still, Leno sucks, he is not funny in the least.

Since he and Andy are back together, I was happy. Now I have to watch the irregular chinned one again. It's just not right.

I guess there are still more people with crappy senses of humor awake at 11:30.

Nice try Conan, maybe another 10 years from now...

What a snub by NBC. I'm sure ABC or FOX will now come knocking for Conan. There's no way he takes a back seat again to the incredibly unfunny Jay Leno.

I think Conan is hurting himself with some of the bits he does after the monologue. He did like two solid weeks of a stupid vampire spoof surrounding Twilight- I'm a huge fan and that even got on my nerves.

He needs to do more taped segments out and about. That's when he's at his best. I'd be PISSED if I were him, though.

I can understand why some people don't like conan, but Jay Leno is as bland as they come. His jokes are completely unoriginal...and he's gotten worse with this new show.

I tried watching Leno's show one night this week and my wife and I both said "r****ded" at least 5 times each before turning it off.

The old lineup drew in the most ratings (Leno at 11:30 pm followed by Conan). While it might not be the best lineup, its the lineup that pulls in the most $$$ and viewership. Conan is not working for the 11:30pm audience, Fallon is definitely not working for the 12:30am audience.

I do hope Conan get's his own 11:30 pm to compete with Leno though. David vs. Leno all over again.

I don't get the extreme hatred of Leno though. I would say he's better than Fallon...*shudder*. Conan is the best, of course, especially in his 12:30am timeslot where he was allowed to do more.

I was thinking about how Dave Letterman felt Screwed over by NBC
and wondered if Conan will be more patient 'wait his turn'
    or
will he step out like Dave did.

    Rocket River
that movie about the tonite show was interesing
I think it was called 'Late nite'?

Most of them are arriving at The Waffle House, Luby's or I-Hop right now for dinner.

Anybody that prefers Jay Leno should have their life card revoked.
