Well, if we did trade Ariza the "I've grown to hate Shane Battier" and "Trade Battier" threads would of course begin to make an appearance. Sure Ariza has not looked as good as some thought, but the multiple threads are a manifestation of peoples boredom and cry for attention. A posters need for attention whoring will never change, but the Rockets roster always will. It's just a matter of time before there is someone else to bash incessantly.

Well generally I don't like to bash Rocket players, except for well... Tracy. I try to look at the good, but for Trevor I'm still mixed. Everything about him reminds me of "average" and trying to do too much. He doesn't really seem to have the personality to fit with the rest of the team and neither did Ron.

The upside is he's only getting paid the "MLE", the downside is, I don't like the way he seems to communicate with his teammates. I'd love to see Trevor and Tracy get shipped for say, Iggy.

Talk about an immediate gratification society. He hasn't even played a half of a season yet with the Rockets. It's obvious he isn't going to be "the man" but he can be a great role player. I think he had higher hopes for himself so I'm sure he his disappointed. The role he had in LA is the role he is best suited for. Let's see how it works when we get a true go-to guy and Yao back.

He is going to stay... They aren't going to give up on him unlike some of you. He signed knowing that Yao will be back next year. He wants to play with Yao and they want him to evolve back into the side kick role. This year is an experimental type season.

We are playing with house money and it will get better.

I know people keep saying it, but i agree with them. I dont think we will see Ariza's true potential on this team till Yao or some other play trough a trade comes in. He is not a #1 scorer but he is trying to be. I think he will be a very good player when he does what Battier does. Wait for the set and then loose your defender and wait in your corner to hit your three. Hes not used to playing this many minutes and i think its effecting his play. Most players cant be great on defense and offense playing the minutes hes playing.

I agree take some of his minutes and give them to Cbud and that both players will improve from this.

This team needs someone on the court with huge balls. Someone who would have yelled at T-Mac when he used to take horrible shots, and now someone to check Ariza. Artest wasn't that guy, we need a real leader. Hayes could be that guy but he isn't vocal. I wanted Mario Elie as an assistant coach soooo bad. He was perfect.

Anyways, we need that guy quick if we keep Ariza around, because I don't like where this is heading when Yao gets back. I have a feeling Ariza is going to hate catering to Yao...

Ignore the statistical analysis Morey, bring in a bulldog.
