If I have learned one thing in my time reading the GARM, it's the fact that there always has to be one scapegoat that for whatever reason everyone gangs up on and puts on the blame for losses. It's annoying.

First it was Juwan Howard. After he went away, Rafer turned into the new whipping boy, after that, T-Mac, then Ron, it was even Battier for a time.

Now, it's Trevor Ariza. Just give this guy a break. He went from being a role player on a veteran team with clearly defined roles into a unknown situation which was Houston. I don't know how Ariza will pan out, but why don't we wait more than 30 games before we try to trade him for 2nd rounders. Who thinks we are going to win the championship much less make the 2nd round of the Playoffs? This is supposed to be a REBUILDING year, give the guy more chances to prove himself.

One other thing that bothers me is how even after the scapegoat leaves the Rockets, people still keep hating on that player and wish him to fail. I have seen this with Rafer, Juwan, Ron, and I can almost guarantee if Trevor is traded right now, a year from now there will still be posts every time he does something newsworthy with members dissing him left and right.

And you know what, if Ariza is traded, unless we start dominating, all of you will just find someone else to blame for losses.

It's too obvious to ignore now though. Just too apparent. I mean the other players can be bad but Ariza is consistently bad.

Trevor isn't the reason we went 0-3 on the road trip but the problem that is developing is that with so much playing time all his flaws are being exposed. RA needs to cut his minutes for his own good as its obvious the more minutes he plays the less effective he is becoming.

FYI...Trev had a bone headed 3 point try at the end tonight but Shane with 0 points, Lowry with 3 and DA with only 5 didn't help at all.

Okay let's break down this scenario there's one minute left were down by 4 points and we have the ball. Landry has been dominating his position and brooks has been shooting lights out. Ariza is being gaurded by Amare at the top of the key 3 point line. 16 seconds left on the shot clock...

What does ariza do? He jacks up a 3
I mean Wtf is going through his mind

Its his fault for not knowing the situation or his abilities.

While this is true, it is just part of the game. If the Lakers start failing like the Nets, I am sure Kobe too will get blame.

I dunno, the worst player on the team who takes the most shots seems to deserve the blame to me

I always turn my TV off when the 4th quater comes. It is just too painful to watch sometimes. The only time the Rockets did well in the 4th I saw was when T Mac had 13 in 35

There are times when I'd be willing to engage in an argument about how bad Ariza is for this team, and in general, really. But if there are really people out there who think that he isn't the problem with this team then I just don't care enough to bother.

Trevor is garbage. That's it. He's a 4th option at best. I don't even have the energy to muster up an argument to prove it. He just is. The stats prove it. Common sense proves it. Ugggh. He sucks so bad I just want to go to sleep and forget he ever signed here.

Sorry Ariza is shooting 37.7% this year and after tonights bricktacular it will be even lower.

Didn't someone post he was second to last in the league in FG%?

The only thing that is not justified was fans believing he was that good to begin with.

ill be patient, but its going to be tough. i want this team to win every game, as unreal as that is. i hate losing and i hate seeing 3s clanked and handles lost on sloppy drives to the hoop. i know we arent going to go far this year, but i still want us to do our best. its tough to watch ariza at times. ..... at most times.
