Yeah I know but I am stating that its not just the offense and what really is killing the team is lack of big down low against the elite teams. My bad.

Well he did have 20 Pts & 20 Reb tonight againts the wizards, who has a pretty big front line....

Plus the Dude is legit 7 ft with a 7'6 wingspan, so he provides both size and length so we don't get murdered in the boards like this again.....

The Rockets are 21-14 in the "rebounding game" this year (i.e., they've been outrebounded only 14 times in their 35 games).

    That's not bad.

Look what I just came across, just in case our nights as Rockets fans aren't bad enough.

Are you trying to compare that 44-40 rebound game (to me it's pretty equal) to this 36-50 rebound game?

    Brilliant!

That is not bad at all but if they can just get a big in return for TMac it can get better. I hope something good can be had in the TMac trade.

No need to replace Shane there is always room for a smart player like him on the floor.

Let me put it another way....the team would be better with

Rudy Gay and Shane than it would with Rudy Gay and Trevor.

    Von Wizzafer.

I know the guy is not quite what many people have in mind but he puts points up at an efficiency rate that Trevor Ariza doesn't believe exists. He's just the shot in the arm this team could use on nights like tonight. And the best part is he that on nights he is sucking you put him back on the bench and go back to Battriza and watch the bricks fall from that dynamic duo.

Agreed, but why not Von, Battier and CBud as a wing rotation?

That is better than any with Trevor.

I like that. The defense loses little with Battier and Budinger (Ariza is overrated defensively) on the floor and the offense gets significantly more potent with Trevor off of it and Von and Budinger getting his minutes.

I like Shane and don't want to see him go but Battriza is killing us. He and Ariza are so freaking redundant it makes me wonder if Morey had a seizure when he decided to bring Ariza in. I prefer Shane because he is a much better and more consistent defender and he doesn't try to do things outside of his skill set.

There is always room for a shane type of guy on any team, but most teams, shane is a bench player and he's starting for the rockets. The same can be said for the recently bought out rafer and the overacheiver hayes. If those guys are playing 30 mins and starting, you're team is going nowhere. Yeah, i said it

    Sarcasm I take it?

Chase or Von would be good but we'll still be hindered by not having a closer.

I think we had it before a tall wing 20-5-5 and tall center at 20-10 shooting at high percentages....

We've had the solution all along it just hadn't worked out
