Ariza tries too much against the Lakers. He's always in his head. I don't mean to make a thread for this, but look at all the previous games this season against the Lakers. His stat line has been abysmal. Nov 4. 5/21 3 TO Nov. 15 (we won this one) 2/12 6 TO Today(so far): 3/12 I know it's his former team, but come on. Does he really need to go all gung ho trigger happy to try to impress Kobe? That being said, we're making a comeback right now! Don't give him the ball
I guess a super athletic blow-by and monster dunk to bring us within 2 and then great D on the other end to give us back the ball........damn that Ariza..trying too hard
IMO Trevor needs to model his game after Shawn Marion..super athletic who cleans up the garbage buckets and fills out a stat sheet. Marion never has plays run for him just stays active from start to finish.
Ariza puts himself in more compromising positions on the basketball court in a week than Kobe does in a whole season. Even hinting at a comparison between the decision making and generally body control of the two players shows a significant lack of understanding on your part.
how can we ever be expected to beat talented teams like the lakers without tmac or yao? everyone here praises the decision to bench tmac but there's no way we can get over teams like the lakers...sure the mediocre teams are within our reach as is, but not the elite teams
who cares were using this year to develop our young players we cant afford to risk that to play a cancer like t-mac just to win a couple of useless games.
Grrrrr......I hate it when our players try. Stupid aggressive players. Why can't they all stand in the corner and do intangibles like Battier. (as Shane hits his second three......poor timing on my part)
Trying hard, and trying to do too much are two different things. Clearly this thread is about the latter.
Honestly, I think it's better to have McG doing just enough than Ariza throwing the game away for us. Never forget when we get close that more often than not we were behind because of him and his horrendous high volume FG%.
If thats how you feel then who is more at fault, TA for taking the shots or RA for giving him the green light?
