    status update sorta:
    i met chase budinger last night!! i was gonna start a thread about it but i can't cause i'm a rookie. he was at a club chillin with his friend and drinking some beer. i think he came down after the hornets game. he told me his recovery was coming along pretty smooth. i wished him well and hoped to see him on the court soon. i later saw him hanging around the beer pong table outside in the patio where me and friends had just finished up a few games. not sure if he played though cause i had to leave then. haha definitely made my night!

    Budinger improves


    Rockets guard Chase Budinger began traveling with the team and went through a shooting drill before the game in New Orleans, but he is expected to be out for the rest of the week with a sprained left ankle suffered Dec. 19.

    “I told him we would wait and get it 100 percent, try to get some practices in,” trainer Keith Jones said . “I don't want to put him back for a game. Coach (Rick Adelman) would want him to practice first.”

    From Rockets Twitter: Adelman says Chase looked good in practice today. Says he's hopeful that he might be able to play tomorrow against Lakers.
