Doesn't it have to be the owner or GM to file the appeal? I've not heard anything myself either way...probably Morey/Alexander doesn't want to seem like they're play tit for tat against Cuban and letting it ride....

There was an article in another thread that stated cuban changed his protest from not being able to review the flagrant one to questioning the technical foul

Yeah, I know. It was the assessment of the technical foul being improper on which Cuban based his protest. Among other things, he claimed that the refs improperly assessed a T on Dampier only after committing the "mistake" of reviewing it. This has nothing to do with Brooks's flagrant.

HA! This just made my day. I love seeing Cuban not get what he wants. There is a fine line between standing up for one's team and being a sore LOSER. Looks like Stern thought Cuban was being the latter....(and he didn't want to deal with the headache of setting up a one-minute re-play of the game.)

As I understand the rules, a replay is allowed after flagrant-2, but not flagrant-1. So the impropriety of Dampier's technical (assessed after review) is based on Brooks getting a flagrant-1 rather than flagrant-2. That should have been his protest.

They are such whiners. Josh Howard makes me sick. Surely he has enough money to fix his teeth. Where is the pink my little pony Mav logo? Bring it back!
