That baby is winking lol I wonder if baby is going to be tall as Yao... that if it is a boy anyway congrats, thats a blessing
Congrats to Yao and Ye Li. Here is hoping for the best of health for Mrs. Yao and the baby. I love the sense of humor in this bbs, keep it up fellas.

After I shook off the horror of Yao's injury I did say "it's a good time to have a baby". I don't think this part is cosmically relevant, but I do wonder if China's laws would recognize Yao's child as being Chinese if he were born here. That would be cool and take any pressure off. If the child is born in Houston he'd have options though. As much as Yao loves China I wonder if he enjoys his millions of dollars more here or at home. Congrats Yao!
I hope the Chinese government won't limit Mr. and Mrs. Yao to one child. My first wife was an only child-- from that marriage I learned to appreciate the virtues of being raised among siblings. Of course, for basketball purposes, the Chinese-- and everyone-- would like to see the Yaos procreate like rabbits. Seriously, best of luck and happiness to the Yao family!
Glad to see that Yao's foot problem didn't slow him down too much. Congratulations to Big Fella and Mrs. Big Fella! (may your first child be a man child!)
I hope he is born in Houston. I wan't to to be the first to welcome him on his arrival to Houston !
Being the son of a great basketball player does not guarantee that you are going to follow the same path, lol. For example, Michael Jordon's kids.
Congrats to Yao and his wife, I hope they will all be safe and healthy, during this joyous time. Technically, if I remember his history right, Yao was the offspring of Chinese sports talents. Personally, I would love for the kid to be the son of two centers and turn out to be a crazy skilled and athletic 6'2" point guard or something. Or maybe, he could wreck shop at another international sport instead like baseball or soccer. Either way, I hope the family is successful in all that they do.
