Warriors waive Mikki Moore...Rockets should jump on this asap!

    The Golden State Warriors have waived center Mikki Moore, the team announced today. Moore, 34, appeared in 23 games with Golden State this season (20 starts), averaging 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 17.7 minutes. A 12-year NBA veteran, Moore underwent surgery to remove bone spurs in his right heel on December 18.

    With today's transaction, Golden State's roster currently stands at 15 players.


    With our lack of height, he would help us greatly. A true 7 footer who can spread the floor and run. A bit on the slender side but still a decent pickup! WAIVE HARRIS and sign this guy asap!!!!!!

    If the GSW dropped him, why the hell would we want him? Yeah I understand he is a seven footer, but we would be better off putting a life size cardboard cut out of Yao out on the court.

    Plus we need roster space for whatever fillers get thrown in if/when a McLady deal gets done.

    Plus we have a Mikki Moore with a better jumper. His name is Cook.

    How about we sign him up for this season? Adelman can fix him up with 7 minutes a game to rehab. At the end of the year he can sign with some other team once he is ready to contribute.

    I agree, this would be a frugal addition but any mobile player above 6'9 is needed. I hope the rockets. jump on the moore wagon.
