why? because he did fight in the magic uniform? is that what you hated about him when he waas with the rockets, and attempted 1 fight with him being right ?
Well what he did to Bobby Jackson was a punk move. Everything else I think Tmac was doing the right thing. Kenyon Martin is probably the biggest thug in the NBA and he still pretty much is. Eric Snow absolutely baited Tmac into doing something, we all know who was more valuable to the team then. But thanks, I've actually been trying to find full videos of his altercations for a while now.
I hate Eddie House. He is a punk ass. For all of Rafer's shortcomings, I am glad he did this: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/im1OMj3vLaI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/im1OMj3vLaI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
The commentators' and House's reactions were totally justified. McGrady, whose IQ is even lower than Bill Walker's, was shoving players and putting his fingers in people's faces in a meaningless preseason game.
Plus if hate T-mac for those incidents, then i would say everyone on the NBA is a punk, bcuz everyone had their shares of fights... so this is nonsense..
I don't have a problem with any of the 'fights' posted. I did have a problem with his actions in the Olympics. His taunting was not in the spirit of the games. It just shows how the young stars of today are so much more savvy than the guys at the beginning of the decade. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/qsPi83DrkCY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/qsPi83DrkCY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Of all the criticisms Tracy received on this board, the one that baffled me the most (and this is really saying a lot considering some here actually blamed him for our playoff loss against Dallas) was when people implied that he was a puss (and not just for injury reasons as I'm sure someone will reply). He got into more scuffles than anyone else here during his tenure and always had Yao's back. But continue the revisionism.
That may have been due to the way he played the game. For example, when Lowry attacks the basket, he looks for contact. McGrady was the opposite.
Sorry, I should have included that as well. I agree, he plays like a puss. What I mean is that I've seen people here make the claim that he wasn't willing to fight (in the literal sense) - that's just not true.
