I would do Brand+Iggy +2010 unconditional first for McGrady and Cook and our 2010 pick.

I think Brand will be productive for a few years. Never to value, but we would be getting AI and a fairly high pick.

Iggy is Ariza 2.0 Do you guys really want that? Butler is a better choice because he's a better shooter and ballhandler

Of course, Iggy can be a leader. You know, we are already good. What we need is a leader for this team. I think that is the point. Ariza can't grow up to a superstar like tracy or iggy. Could you feel it? ;)

Butler just. He's tough. He can create and finish as well as Iggy. He can play defense.

    who would i rather have?

my heart tell me Iggy no doubt young. athletic, still have a room for improvement but my mind tell me its Caron for his veteran leadership which we badly needed sometimes or... i just wish we should let tmac contract expire! and chase highlight coveted players.. WADE or BOSH!!

    76ers
    Want: iggy, t.young, speights
    Do not want: brand, dalembert

    wizards
Want: Butler, Miller, Young, McGee, Blatche
Do not want: Arenas, Jamison, Stevenson, James

As far as what our team needs, I think we really need a 'von wafer' type player, non-midget 2 guard who can shoot the 3 ball which makes Miller and N.Young interesting to me. I think our PG are fine and don't wish to change them, our 3 spot is currently held by Ariza/Battier/C-Bud so Iggy/Butler doesn't really fill our needs that much, although I guess they can play the 2, but neither shoot the 3 ball very well.

Our 4 position I do not want to change as I love our Scolandry duo but I do admit we are getting dominated by the bigger C's and PF's of the league. Players which are also of interest to me are bigs who can spread the floor and are versatile enough to play the 4/5 , ie: Blatche, McGee. Although McGee is still a raw prospect you can't teach height and his pretty agile for his size, same can be said with Blatche which make them both interesting prospects to me as they could potentially play the 4 along side Yao when he returns.

Ideally I wouldn't want to give to give up any of our core pieces as I love this team to death with our heart and hustle shown on the court night in, night out and it would be ideal to get rid of Cook/Tmac/Dorsey only (I like Yaylor but I guess he is expendable), but if we are truly going after a 3 or a 4 (butler/speights/T.Young/Iggy) I guess we'd have to give up one of our core players packaged with Tmac in order for the the team we're trading with to have any incentive to trade with us (Landry/Battier/CBud/lowry/brooks/scola).

In short, I have mixed feelings about trading TMAC, I hope Morey pulls of something miraculous and we don't lose ANY of our current core players but I don't think it's possible....

Obviously Iggy fits the best, but he comes with Dalembert. If Caron doesnt have garbage attached to him then Caron might be a better haul.

Dalembert fills a need and expires next season, he is not that bad for the Rockets.

fills a need this year, not next year, i wouldnt risk the extra money he's making and risk not being able to bring back scola and/or lowry. Dalembert isnt worth that.

    I prefer Iggy for myself,
