I was surprised they didn't call it when we fouled Jason Terry. Thank goodness for that.

Ariza's just angry that he didnt get the kick out from Brooks when Brooks penetrated because his man left him. That was a good attack by Brooks.

Watching that again pissed me off how bad the refs were, all 3 calls in the last minute was wrong. Battier got a clean block his lower arm WASN'T pushing out or guiding his man, Terry got fouled and Brooks also got fouled. Luckily at the end of the day we still got the win.

Well, the protest is to replay the last 1:03 right?

Maybe the NBA really thought they messed up that game, so they would try to give Dallas this one in the last 1:03?

It was horrible how we got treated the last minute. Thank God for Brooks and Battier's clutch shots.

NBA refs can be very dirty. I bet you some of those knuckleheads had money on the game and tried to fix the score. Doesn't the NBA have anything like the NFL? Can't they go back and look at this stuff and fine, suspend, or hopefuly, fire?

You know it's ridiculous when cool & coy Mr. Battier gets T'ed up.

Damn, was Aaron Brooks pissed or what? I've never seen him that mad.

I was watching the game in dallas and the broadcast team here in dallas was just absolutly r****ded. They showed a replay of battier getting pushed out of bounds and they were both like, " i didnt see any push so I dont know why he is so upset." I was about to throw my shoe at the tv. In the rockets broadcasts, if we get away with one, bill or clyde/bull will acknowledge it and say we got away with one.

Stern,he is the root cause of all of this. Terry got badly hacked, but Shane and Brooks got more no-calls against them. The Rockets must protest vigorously, because the Mavs are certainly going to do so.

    Dirk got superstar treatment.

I'm glad we won, but I also loved how our players showed passion and emotion.

This was the first time I saw Brooks pissed. I loved how he smacked the floor and was obviously holding his rant in whiles Lowry precariously places his hand on Brooks' shoulder hoping he wouldn't blow up.

This was also the first time I saw a red-faced Battier that did not involve blood dripping down his face.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Most of the calls/non-calls were made in the last minute of the game. It's almost like they decided not to call any fouls on Dallas the last minute. I don't think there is any way they will replay the end of the other game 'cause it would open a can of worms. This was their way of making up for their mistake. Just my opinion.

Still, Brooks needs to realize that they never like to call fouls at the end of the game and he needs to be really aggressive but then kick it out. It has happened many times this season and I think he has only got the call once that I remember. He's learning.

Battier got hot, got T, got hot about the T, then immediately calmed down and smiled.

The calming down part is actually kind of creepy. Shane Battier reminds me of Dexter Morgan.

The one thing I like about our commentators is that they are a lot more objective than most. They still root for our team, but they point out when we get calls we shouldn't. I especially like Bullard for doing that and for calling out Scola and Lowry when they flop.

I don't think Ariza was angry. He was probably explaining to Brooks that the refs don't like to call fouls in the closing seconds of a game so once he has drawn all those defenders to him there are other guys open. Brooks has only been a starting NBA point guard for less than one season and he hasn't had that many opportunities at the end of games so he is learning. Fair or not (about the refs not calling fouls) that's the way it is and Brooks needs to adjust.

[Conspiracy Theory] Cuban's complaint about last game is still sitting on NBA desk. League tells the official to make some calls in Mavs favor this game. Cuban does not complain about bad officiating in his favor from last nights game. Instead, Rockets send NBA tapes of bad officiating from last nights game. Cuban inquires about initial petition. Leagues sends Cuban Morey's tapes and tells him to STFU. Cuban goes home and cries on Dirk's shoulders. They make out.[/Conspiracy Theory]

    Ariza has experience.

He is telling Brooks that only certain stars get calls. He should know it, he lived the world of all-star calls and no-star calls in Lakers and Rockets.

I have to disagree there. I think Bullard is way overboard on the homerism, especially when it comes to the officials. Drexler is a little more level-headed, in my view. However, I think Bull adds much quite a bit more insight to the game than Clyde does.

the refs have such a hard job. They blew so many calls in the last minute, it was really embarrassing and I am sure they are going to be pained to see the replays.

But it was a tough situation. The two calls that went against Battier - the block that was called a foul - that was a tough call, because it looked as if they collided - they didn't. But on the first view it looked like it did.

Also the push. It's hard to pick up a push when Battier is running to save the ball. Had Battier stopped and then gotten pushed - it would be easier, but since he's moving, it's much harder to pick up until you see the replay. I think the refs messed both of these up.

Seems like the aaron brooks call was a make-up for the jason terry missed call.

All in all - they mucked up there at the end, but I also can see how tough it is to make those calls in fast motion. They have a split second to make the call. Often times, they will be wrong. Hopefully often means 1 in 10. In the last minute, seems like the blew about 5 in 10 calls / non-calls.
