Yup it sure looks that way. I'm looking forward to see what other teams are willing to throw out there.

Would anyone take Jamison and Butler for McGrady and Budinger? The salaries match up.

I would ask for Miller before James but James might be the compromise in order to get it done.

lmao if James comes back to Houston. He really is a prostitute and the Rockets must like his services.

A lot of Caron Butler fans I see... I am not so sure he can play the 2-guard... In my mind he is yet another SF...

I would do that. We still have 12 million come off of the books at the end of the season to use for Lowry and Landry.

    He's better than Ariza.

Call me crazy but does Caron seem abit old? He is going to be 30 in there months. Has he started to show any signs of decline yet. I have not really watched him that much lately.

You could trade McGrady and Budinger for Butler and Jamison, then send Landry, Brooks, and Cook to NOLA for Chris Paul.

    PG: Paul / Lowry
    SG: Butler / Taylor
    SF: Ariza / Battier
    PF: Jamison / Scola
    C: Yao / Andersen / Hayes

I'd rather have Iggy than Butler. Butler is also injury prone.

butler is capable of putting up 20-6-5 and 2 steals.

he took a big hit in production this season because of arenas, foye, and even miller handling the ball before he does.

still, on the rockets he would be the buy with the ball in his hands creating for others. he would put up superstar numbers for under $10M. however, look at the games per season... the guy is injury prone. like i said earlier... if nothing else comes up by the deadline then you take this deal.

I like Butler, when he is healthy.

He is healthier than T-Mac, but he has only played a little over 60 games a year for the last 3 seasons.

So would we have Ariza or Butler playing the 2? How good of a jump shooter is Butler? 3 pt line?

Everybody seems to think we will unload our crap players (cook, dorsey etc) for good players. Not going to happen. This is the NBA, No team will unload high talent, low salary players for Tmac and Harris.
Expect a Laundry, Scola, Battier etc to be included in any package deal with Mcgrady.

I would trade Scola instead of Landry. Landry is the younger player and Jamison is getting up there in age. He wont be a starter in this league for much longer

Wow thats a ton of Butler love...I have him on my fantasy team and seems to me he's Washingtons third banana. I don't watch the Wizards enough to know, is the guy really that good? His numbers are "eh"
