I had taped the Phily game last night and was unimpressed by there team and players that we might want to trade for, but the announcers said numerous times during the game that there coach had simplified the offense but they still look anemic.
They played a decent first half then just faded in the second half. Dalembert just looked uninterested in the game!

Another reason why I DON'T want Dalembert on this team.

I don't want any deal that gets rid of Scola, Landry, or Lowry. I know that Brooks is getting a lot of love right now, but Lowry to me is more untouchable than Brooks.

What about 1993-1995? I am sure glad they were in "WIN NOW" mode.

Unless He plays and shows that He still has game then Tellum would have to be a magician to imposed such a thing.

Lowry is the energizer. He comes in and something positive usually happens. Hope they do not disrupt what is not "broke". The team needs the present rotation to succeed. Adding a piece or two would propel it to a higher level. Trade Tmac and the end of the bench like Dorsey to pick up talent.

Why would Philly want a core guy like Scola or Lowry? Both are expiring after this season. Why would Philly try to be good this year? They are in the John Wall sweepstakes (along with Minnesota and New Jersey).

This trade is worst for both teams.

Really, the major question here is whether DM the GM told Tellum to 'broker a deal' and bring it to him or whether DM the GM told Tellum he could talk to teams himself about a deal, meaning DM the GM is not relinquishing position on this.

Philly will not be a big player in the 2010 FA market with only $15 mil in cap space.

Their current salary for 2010-11 would be $65 mil and the expected salary cap for 2010-11 is $54 million. They are $11 million over the cap.

    2010-11
    $65 mil current commitments
    -$26 mil expirings
    =$39 mil

    $54 mil salary cap
    -$39 mil commitments
    =$15 mil

Lebron and Wade can get more from their own teams.

How about McGrady, Cook, Dorsey..........and Lowry for ..........................

Iggy, Dalembert, Speights, and Lou Williams????????????

Flame me. I don't wanna lose Lowry. However, he is a FA at the end of this season, will probably get an offer in the $4-$5 million range I would imagine. Could we make do with Lou Williams as Brooks' backup in order to get Iggy and Speights?

I was referring to the fact that Philly also would rather have Young over Iguodala. They'd much rather hold onto Young and rookie scale salary over AI and his massive long-term contract. I thought that was clear enough. Sorry if I didn't spell it out better for you.

Holiday is having a so-so year, but remember that he is the YOUNGEST player in the NBA. He's going to get it soon enough and should become a good NBA point guard. He's already an above-average defender and, at 6-4, has the potential to become an elite defender at the PG position.

Yes, basically at the exspense of Lowry for Iggy and Speights, YES - Lowry is so easy to replace i would ask for their pick first and if not then do it anyways. I think their top priority is to move Dalembert no matter what. This is probably what will shape up as they are looking for a PG too. Move Dalembert and find PG is their top priority.

no no no man, i woudl give tmac and ariza for iggy and dalembert anyday, think about it, Iggy automatically replaces Ariza and becomes 10x better at that position.

Budinger is our future prospect and developing now, theres no way you trade him whereas Ariza...
