Maybe if Sixer's keep losing more games they might consider trading Iggy to rebuild.

As said before here, they doesn't have a bunch of expirings or young prospects. And you cannot expect Morey to take an ugly contract for nothing.

They are either including Igoudala or there will be no trade.

Well, Sixers, you are almost there. You can bring home Tmac right away as long as you throw in Andre Iguodala as a filler.

AI9 playing on TNT right now just in case anyone cares(or anyone who perhaps never seen him play/what he is/isnt about but doubt that.)

Fact is that they're losing games, even with Iguodala.

They need to make a 'move' - and whether its a financial move, or a basketball move, it must involve changing the direction of the team.

Freeing up cap space generates interest; bringing in a former superstar generates interest; a top 3 draft pick generates interest.

Losing games on the backs of 'reliable' players like Iguodala doesn't generate interest. Be interesting to see if they make a move or ride it out...

Are you even aware of who is on the Sixers roster?

Marreese Speights would most likely start; backed up by Jason Smith and then Primoz Brezec playing 3rd fiddle.

Brand and Young would man the PF spot, sharing time with either of Speights or Smith.

They have some nice talent in the big man department, Dalembert is completely irrelevant to their future, and is getting paid a stack for it because nobody else wants that contract.

Dalembert hasn't played over 30 minutes since Speights was drafted last year. Dalembert's minutes are going down each year, while Speight's minutes have increased.

    Dalembert
    07-08 33.2 min
    08-09 24.8 min (Speights drafted)
    09-10 24.2 min

    Speights
    08-09 16 min
    09-10 22.4 min

I can see Speight's minutes being increased to Dalembert's 24.2 minutes easily.

Do you think he is going to be a big difference maker? I hope DM won't fall for his trade kicker and inconsistent play.

Dalembert will not be a Rocket because he does not smell like a Rocket. To be a Rocket, he must have the manly musky aroma that guys like Battier, Hayes, Scola and Ariza have.

    Dalembert does nothave the aroma.

How many more losses until AI stops deferring to Iggy? They had a poor relationship the first time around...

I would hope Philly realizes that they will not win anytime soon with the team they have in place. Yes Iggy Pop and Thad are the truth but nothing else. They were drilled by the Clip Joint tonight. The only way we take on Dalembert is with Iggy Pop included in the convo. I would give them Scola and Tmac for Dalembert and Iggy Pop.

I do think Dalembert would play better on a winner with Rick as his coach. Expectations would be lowered.
