This is getting REALLY OLD. All started that 2005 series where Cuban sent in tapes about Yao, so of course rest of the series, the officials MUST BS calls in Mavs favor to keep Mr. Cuban happy. Freaking Mark Cuban complains about end game of last Rockets win @ Dallas and of course this end game must be in the Mavs favor at the end of the game to keep Mr. Cuban happy. Stern you are a piece of s**t. You need to get fired OR stop being so scared of Mark Cuban and making sure Lakers are good every year (gotta throw Lakers in there.. just look @ their schedule year in and year out. ) Anywho Rockets win even with all that BS, and HAPPY NEW YEAR CFANS .
The part that's most irritating is watching Nowitzki set moving screen after moving screen ALL GAME LONG. I wanted to throw something at the TV after the tenth time I watched him continually shuffle his feet as whichever guard was getting picked struggled to get around. I guarantee you Cuban has no problem with that.
The only reason I watch this rigged league with the most terrible rules, officiating crews, huge egos, overpaid assholes, media horny, it's all about one person, fake superstars having ass NBA is because the Rockets represent the oppressed. They could have had way more championships or playoff runs, had Satan (Stern and co.) and his minions hadn't interfered. Still, the Rockets play hard, are the hardest workers in the league hands down, overachieve with $40 million out and show the rest of the NBA how basketball should be played (like in Europe where they play team ball and not me ball) It gives me satisfaction to know they can still win despite all the odds and Satan trying to stop them. They bleed Rockets red and humans are stronger than the devil.

I can live with bad officiating since I know its the toughest of the big 3 sports to call BUT what gets me is when the officials change the style of game when they assume appropriate. Late in games they call fouls or don't call fouls that earlier would be the complete opposite. They try and control the game according to what they assume is best and thats not how it should be. The last 2 minutes tonight where a joke and they will justify it by saying that late in games no one gets ticky tack calls??? Things like that and superstar calls are what make people believe jokers like Donaghy and will always have people wondering if there watching the NBA or WWE.
seemed like the end of the game was a series of make-up call after make-up call. at some point it's gotta stop.
The last two plays were particularly awful. I'm not one to stand up for the Mavs, but Terry and Brooks both got hacked something terrible.
See, but WWE everybody knows and understands it's fake and whoever wins is already discussed backstage. In the NBA everybody denies and seems to keep on the hush and behind the scenes teams like the Lakers are constantly put in favourable position though never knowing if they will in fact win. The way RA gets pissed after some of these games is for me enough proof that at least not everybody is involved in the NBA (organisations - teams) If it is in fact so then you in the US have some great actors that need to star in the next hollywood movie.
What pisses me off is what's on TNT atm, who wants to watch the 76'ers vs Clippers, instead of Mavs vs. Rockets? **** the media, it's their fault.

it's almost like they knew shane got fouled, so they swallowed their whistles when terry got hacked, and then when terry was laying on the court they realized maybe the make-up non-call wasn't equivalent to dirk's shove on shane, so they swallowed their whistles again when aaron was hammered. it really was just absolutely appalling officiating.
Yea completely agree that not "everyone" is involved but enough people make enough phone calls and junk like the last 2 minutes tonight pop up that it makes fans, players and now media wonder. Shane's "T" tonight was HORRIBLE...there is no freaking way you can give Shane "future president" Battier a technical in that situation and follow it up with a couple of horrible no-calls on Terry and Brooks...JUST NO WAY.
Yup, but it's also us fans that keep allowing this so on the one hand we need to really do something about it. We cannot just accept this and let it fly like we do not care. I'm telling you, if the game had been called fair, especially towards Yao, the Rockets could've won championships and get far into the playoffs. I have no doubts about that, Yao is being discriminated against and the whole Rockets team, as well as many others, are being mocked at. Can some1 start a petition, I can bet you we will get thousands of signatures from people on this board and some others like realgm alone.
Lets' do it! Lets' not just sweep everything up under the rug and allow it to continue without speaking on it. The problem is we just ignore everything and pretend that it's all good when it isn't.
