There isn't a clearer call than a defender's arm coming down on the offensive player's shoulder during a layup. That's the first thing they teach middle school referees
God I wish I had a link to the Mav's message board. AWESOME win beating all 8 our their players on the court.
I still maintain that the last two games demonstrate that Battier was either really worried about something to do with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, or else stressed out by some, to us unknown, locker room tension caused by Him. Batman has looked like a different player these last two games. Welcome back, Shane...we've missed you.
It was obvious and if we keep ignoring that this league is rigged we will fall for anything. TERRIBLE OFFICIATING!
Ariza: Stop driving it in with 3 defenders on you! Brooks: Stop bricking it with no defenders on you! Ariza: Touche. Happy New Years bro Brooks: You too
I noticed the same thing. The guys seems to be just...happy. Had more energy to him than we've seen since...ever?
Its good to see that after a week full off TOF's v HOF's that we can all unite together in our hatred for Dallas and the corrupt world of NBA refs!
Yea, I think Ariza was getting on Brooks again but that's understandable. It's just his way of trying to help Brooks make better decisions. Still, bad decision or not, that call needs to be made every time. It was NOT one of those touch fouls they let go on a normal basis. It was a clear full arm hack.
Yeah that was a good move.. but we know the refs and we know that they wont call it.. esp during the end of the game.. but I agree. he was f*in hammered on that play.. I was glad that Brooks was able to control his rage.
