i agree with AlmostReady. there really isnt a reason to bash Q, considering he's got the same opinion as most other players in the league (not on the Rockets) who have spoken out on Ming. Coaches and gms like Ming because he has good fundamentals and he relies on them, something that NBA players dont do much these days. Meanwhile players today see that as a negative. We wont see who's right for a few more years though.
I could be wrong Elie but I though I read somewhere that Q said Ming looked a lot more fluid than most foreign players and/or really tall guys. I defenitely remeber Q laughing and just saying "Bust" as their last comment on Ming. I think all the bashing of Ming by NBA players is more a sign of fear than anything else. So many foreign players were drafted this year and the trend is not over. All my brothers see their spots on the roster, in the starting lineup, and in future all-star games being taken by fundamentally sound foreign players. Trust me, if Ming was a 7' guy outta Compton a lot of the trash talked about him would have never been uttered. Tyson Chandler/Kwame Brown can get more leeway than Ming. Uhh okay. What Q, Miles, and all the other current and future NBA wannabees should be doing is taking a lesson from this and getting thier games together. All the college and HS players need to get those fundamentals down so they can even have a chance in the futre and current guys need to stop wearing their McDonal's All-American jerseys from like 5 years ago and go work on improving themselves and their team.
I also saw the show, and Q struck me as loud and obnoxious. Miles was much cooler, he seems like a pretty nice kid.
Yeah I Agree, Q was kind of loud but not too obnoxious. Miles was pretty cool, I thought he would be more like Q in terms of personality, but he seems more laid back.
Q is a punk. He's just a scrub, and Ming is going to show him up by swatting his $**t away when he tries to come into the paint...
I couldn't care less about what Q-Rich thinks. Even if Ming is a bust, he'll still have a better career than Q-Rich will.
Q is a good player but not in any position for judging talent.. Even if he and his "boys" do get past Ming.. they will only be met by EG so no biggie..as for it being a racist comment i dont think it was racism as much as it was jus bein plain old ignuhant.
I can't wait till Ming sends his **** in to the stands, if he can stop Carter no way that this punk will get yammage on him. I can't wait I'm sure that this will be personal to Ming if he is in fact as competitive as I hear.

I will say that Miles and Q have shown improvement in their game over the past couple seasons, but I do agree with ya. I doubt Ming would get talked about as much if he were the same player, with the same talent, but came out of highschool instead of a foreign national team.
I think that Q needs to mind his own bussiness and since his team doesnt have all the attention right now he wants to get some fu****g publicity this way! Why doesnt he see Ming play first and then start making his little smart ass comments!
the man was just watching tv at his friends house he is entitled to his opinion no matter how well informed
You're right, he was just stating his opinion. But who cares what this guy says, a second-year Clipper? If someone "good" said it, then I could understand, but what does he know.
