Aaron Brooks (Hou) 374,635; Chauncey Billups (Den) 281,911; Deron Williams (Utah) 255,059; Brandon Roy (Por) 224,350; Manu Ginobili (SA) 222,743; Jason Terry (Dal) 212,242.

Trevor Ariza (Hou) 436,088; Luis Scola (Hou) 371,914; Shawn Marion (Dal) 282,421; Ron Artest (LAL) 234,618; Lamar Odom (LAL) 175,271; LaMarcus Aldridge (Por) 155,933.

I bolded for you in return. Anything look odd about those numbers? I'm not arguing that TMac doesn't still have fans but the Rockets are China's de facto national team. Unless you think Brooks, Ariza, and Scola are "faces of the NBA," too.

The ASG game voting process has become a joke.

They need to reduce the impact of fan voting to about 33% like they do in the NFL (I believe that's how it works).

Let the coaches, players and perhaps, the media, decide the remainder.

Not surprising, George Bush Jr got a 2nd term, intelligence is not a requirement for voting.

    ;)

You just disproved your own point there. If an inactive Tmac gets so many "Chinese" votes, why do the other Rockets have only about half of Tmac's votes? Tell me one Rockets fan that does not love Scola and then try to explain to me why the "Chinese" fans wouldn't also give their vote for Scola if they are voting in McGrady just for the simple fact that hes a Rocket.

The voting is still a joke--especially because it's obvious the NBA rigs it anyway. Last year, McGrady was #2 the entire time the voting was announced, yet somehow, Chris Paul ended up with a couple hundred thousand more than him on the very last vote count. There's no way NBA fans suddenly came to their collective senses and voted for Chris Paul at the last minute.

We really should tone down the T-Mac hate. We are trying to sell him after all. I mean this is a guy who can get voted into the All-Star game without even playing! What team wouldn't want an All-Star? In fact, all of Clutchfans should go and vote to make sure other teams know that they are getting an ALL-STAR when they trade us their future for T-Mac.

    ALL-STAR!!!

    (Please take him)

Simple question: Why do you think Yi is not on the ballot?

true, but tmac helped the rigging process when he said a few weeks before that he wouldn't play.

people may diss the voting process, but i think that's why the NBA ASG is so fun. fans get to watch who they want. they like the excitement of their favorite players so let it be.

I think it's fine to have the FANS decide who plays and NOT David Stern. It just makes the whole process a joke. Why even bother with fan voting if you're just going to change it anyway?

lol, so what happens if hes still with us? Would he play the game? It'd be weird to see him play his first significant minutes of the season during the All-Star game.

I thought a lot of haters are voting him in to embarrass him. Maybe Tmac isn't going to be embarrassed at all by stepping onto that All* court this year?

Perfect game for Tmac. No one plays any defense and every one just looks to get their own shot and stats.

it's the ALL star game, which should include current stars, potential stars, and former stars.

If only the Rockets could end up with at least the second best record in the WC since Phil Jackson already coached the West all stars in last season's all star game.

i think he got away with the controversy b/c tmac couldn't play last year. if tracy plays before the allstar game, he can't do this. tracy may offer to give up his starting spot (which he already did) to someone else.
