As much as I root for the Rockets - I root against the Mavs even more.

 

A dog fight all the way. The Bull Mastive in the corner known as Mark makes a big brown mess at the Court's edge when the Rocket Greyhounds take the lead away from the Terriers in the third qtr.

Dirkey wolfhound is thrown out when he attempts to sniff at..... of Carl the greatdane. Carl snaps his teath and Dirkey screams to the Refs & is tossed!

Wonder if Cuban will whine again after his team gets punked by a basketball team with stones. Perhaps Rick Carlisle goes all "Denny Green" at the post game interview.

I expect this game to be rowdy. A little left over tension from last game. Players might take some hard fouls, cheap shots. But since Ron Ron is gone we have nobody who is intimidating or can fight probably. Just a bunch of nice guys. Wouldn't hurt to have an enforcer.

 

Luis needs to do a better job against them. Slowing Dirk and Terry is going to be very hard. I would to see our guys attack them quickly,and put them in early foul trouble.

Just a thought....would you rather see Landry get ejected and possibly suspended for a game if he were to swing an intentional elbow at Dirk and knock his teeth out? Cuz i sure as hell would LOVE to see that!

Only if the Spurs lose to the Heat. If the Spurs win, we're percentage points behind.

However, this game is huge for us in the pursuit of the division crown, which I don't think is an impossibility this season. Obviously, having tie breaks helps our chances immensely. With the Mavs up 2-1 in the season series, we need take this game to preserve any chance of winning the tie break. A Mavs win clinches the tie break for them, but a Rocket victory would square things up 2-2 (assuming Cuban's protest fails) and throw the tiebreak to the division record.

With a Rocket victory, we'd be 4-3 in the division and the Mavs would be 5-5. So advantage to us for the time being. Division record could also come into play with the Spurs if we wind up knotted at 2-2. SA is 3-1 right now in the Southwest, so we need to pick up some Southwest victories tonight and against the Hornets later in the week. And please, I know they're better, but can we please just sweep the Grizz this year? Those Grizz losses the past few years have cost us dearly. And l want to know steroid-cream ZBo is putting in his doughnuts.

Still it would be nice to the be the frontrunner for the tie break instead of constantly being behind.
