    Sounds fake.

I woul think we could do better. But this move would save us $3m in salary. Potentially could then move Miller again as an expiring and keep Gray as a 7 footer in case of emergency.

Too bad it looks like Salmons learning how to shoot last year was a fluke.

What do you guys expect? It's clearly no one wants T-Slack.

    I'm content with this deal.

I don't think Aaron Gray is in a position to even care about Bird Rights any more than I care about my Bird Rights. He's probably just hoping to sing for the minimum somewhere next year.

We'd have to give up SOMEthing. I would hate to put Scola on that burning ship called the Bulls, but if Morey did so, he'd better look at that Chicago 1st rounder, because taking Salmons really helps Chicago next summer.

Edit: And I imagine it wouldn't be 4-for-2, would it hurt anyone's feelings to flush Dorsey in the deal?

A large expiring. Maybe flippable to Portland (in a 3-way)?

Jerome James, Brad Miller, Tyrus Thomas, and John Salmons for T-Mac and Landry or Scola.....no way this deal gets done. The Rockets hold the power and are content to let T-Mac expire if the deal does not benefit the Rockets, which this one really does not.

The only decent thing I see is Tyrus Thomas and he has "Stromile Swift" written all over him.

Not overwhelmed by the rumored deal, but I'd like to get Deng somehow. Salmons 38% shooting this year is rather scary. And he would severely limit our options this offseason in the FA market (as would Deng, but I think Deng would be worth it).

Does this trade make the rockets under the LUX tax?

I love Scola but he's already 30... besides with Carl Landry's emergence, Scola is most likely the one to get traded. Morey would be dumb to trade Landry.

3 smaller one year deals will be easier to move than $23 million belonging to one player...

If a trade like this happened, I would imagine 1 if any of those players would stay in Houston past the trade deadline...
