I thought Morey has already said this before? Only Yao is untouchable. There are a lot of players that Rox would prefer to keep on the team, but at the right price, everyone save Yao can go.
please explain why you think other teams value budinger far less than "we" do. Are they not able to the same footage of budinger that we are?
Only if your idea of "great" is a .337 career average. Even in his best year, last year with the Rox, he only hit .390. That's decent, but not "great" by any stretch of the imagination.
Yao is the only player not on the table. But Aaron is probably untouchable and Landry as well. Really though anything can probably be had for the right players.
I don't think anyone other than Yao is untradeable. Landry is probably as close as it gets, but everyone else could easily be traded if we get the right opportunity. Morey knows what he's doing, he understands how valuable these players are and if anything, he's the most attached to them considering he was the one who found most of them in the first place. He's not going to give any of them up unless he gets what he thinks is fair in return for them, but I'm sure he'd be the first to tell you that everyone on our roster other than Yao could be had for the right price.
No one should be untradeable on this team. If you can make a trade that improves the team, then you do it. None of our rotation players are going to be traded just for the sake of trading them, but to get something you have to give up something. Until you start discussing specific trade scenarios though it is kind of a pointless discussion. But to give a comparision with a true untradeable player, if Lebron was offered for any of the original posters "untradeables" the Rockets would do it in a heart beat, but no matter what the Rockets offered Cleveland they would not trade us Lebron.
