kinda sad it had come to this. i still remembered how excited i was when he first joined us. but now that hes leaving the team , can we finally get the full story from DocRocket? i think he was the one who wrote all the coded messages during the tperiod when there was internal division in the team.
if this team starts losing we will miss mcgrady. his antics would be welcome. i hope we can hold it together
If I was part of the Rockets organization, i would just Retire the #3 jersey. We've had some bad luck in recent years with that number...The ones i can remember are Bob Sura, Steve Francis and no McGrady..
Damn, what could have been... I still remember when we got him from Orlando. The press conference and him saying he wanted to retire in Houston. Oh well.
It is sad. I really wish it could have been better. All we needed was for him to be healthy along with another star. I'm not talking about Yao. I'm talking about if somehow we had him alongside an all star PG or another swingman. This sucks how it ended. I really wish the best for him. Tmac brought so much memories to this city. His 13 points in 35 seconds. The 22 win streak... I will miss him. He is the most exciting player to watch in a Rockets uniform this decade besides Steve Francis.
If I had access to the locker room, I'd do a #2 and some #1 in it, just to let him know how most of us feel. :grin:
