So, I'm bad-mouthing Ariza to my wife and she leaves the room. Then he slams home that dunk and I am off the couch yelling. She comes back in and asks what she missed and gives me a look when I start gushing about Ariza's dunk. I don't think she could handle the waffling on clutchfans. LOL!

Seriously though, if we had lost that game in the last 3 minutes, I would have blamed Adelman for pulling Lowry. Brooks did well all night, but I thought Lowry had it rolling down the stretch. That said, I am glad we got it done.

You'd have liked this game then. It was an exciting game to watch overall, one of the best I have watched in a few weeks, despite a dismal third quarter.

What's with these third quarter letdowns? Good game overall but there are some worrisome tendencies that need to be corrected soon or it could fester as they go deeper into the season.

Sorry, bro. You're right. I usually don't do this but I felt that Lowry really deserved the attention.

I don't think we win this game without Lowry's effort to start the 4th quarter.

At least it's not a thread about you know who.

Either way, mods can merge when they get a chance.

Man what a fun game. The different matchups - Paul/Collison vs. Brooks/Lowry, West/Okafor vs. Scola/Landry - were really entertaining.

Who knew the difference in this game would be the small forward position? Battier scores 20 while Stojakovic goes scoreless!

Very good win tonight. I would like Rick to go to the bench a little earlier in these 3rd quarters when we struggle. Looking forward to dallas!

would it have been better that we'd lost?

CP had a career high...we came back from a horrible horrible 3rd quarter to win the game. Im impressedl There are things from ariza (offensively) that I'm not impressed with but hey...they'll figure it out.

Whatever...I'm impressed by the win :)

Kyle Lowry flopped several times, but he was important.

To be honest, I don't think there was a player of the game. We got lucky their coach decided to bench David West whiles we exploited their bench, and we got lucky a few home calls got Okafor out of the game.

Though I will give Battier a lot of credit for giving us that boost in the fourth when we were beating their bench. As soon as David West came back in the game everything fell apart.

Let's just hope we actually adjust to these players next time.

Game winning dunk and you are shooting venom at the guy.

You should really listen to Ricks press conference he really breaks down whats going on with Trevor. You might learn something.

good win, but man ariza continues to suck offensively. thank god our depth is allowing us to overcome his offensive ineptitude.

He basically said that teams are adjusting to trevor and he has to find other ways to effect the game. He also said that he needs to drive more and not worry about being blocked.

But the main theme that rick had is that trevor is learning.
