I want to see him go to LA and win a title just for the humor when he finally gets his "last laugh" and tries to take credit for riding coattails to a Championship.

Seriously, how awesome would that be to here him saying "I told you so" and wondering out loud whether or not he or Kobe will get Finals MVP?

T-mac left Rocket, I may don't have any interest to watch Rocket games.

Maybe we need to ask the opinion of Phil Jackson first about this. I have observed him since his first head coaching job with the Bulls. He never takes any crap from anybody, ask Pippen, Rodman and Kukoc.

okay weve been paying 23mil for a guy to warm the bench
i think overpaid is very subjective. if VC or lewis can do what they do in orlando for us that will put us over the hump and they are both hella cheaper than tmac so...

I honestly can't see any argument against him going to LA, Cleveland, Dallas, or Boston. You guys have to admit that if he returns to form at all, he would be one hell of a player to put next to Lebron.

No way Kobe wants a lazy no defense ass on the team.

I have to agree. Tracy would have to put in a full effort every single game in LA if he really wants to play there. I see him fitting in with Cleveland if LBJ re-signs better than he would fit in LA.

McGrady would never try to share the court or PT with Kobe. Are you serious?

Why?? Besides Kobe, no Laker puts in a full effort every game. I agree that T-Mac fits better with the Cavs that the Lakers.

McGrady in LA? Obviously not likely, but I wouldn't mind seeing that.

I doubt that. Unless Lakers do another Pau Gasol trade :p
I think he will sign with team that is likely to get deep in the playoffs :)

I dont think the Rockets will buy him out unless he secretly assures us he will go east.

we have to assume that any of those teams want him on their squad. he is injury prone and no matter how ppl say adelman handled this situation badly, tmac doesnt exactly look like an easy-going player. however, im sure phil jackson could talk him into being pippen-esque. tmac used to play pretty good defense when he was younger and he doesnt have the personality to get into it with kobe. he and artest don't get along tho and tmac will only be "one hungry player" until he gets his contract. it'll be malone, payton, kobe, shaq all over again and phil jackson will leave to coach lebron.
it would be funny if we beat them consistently as artest and tmac try their best to stick it to us.

Hey i agree with you on that from his point of view, he would more likely go to the magic. But from what happened last time he was there, i really doubt the magic organisation would want him back. Their fans are not really that welcoming for tmac either.
