Anyone noticed it? He's been play really good defense in the playing time he's gotten. He has very quick feet and doesn't gamble at all. I guess this is why Adleman is trying to work in some playing time for him, I just wanted to give a shout out to the rook.
I'm still recovering from that dunk against the Cavs. It was epic. If he can cut defenses and score like that more often...I'd like to see more of that!
He has had some nice one on one D. He has been getting a bit more time, and who knows, once his jumper starts falling he could help Ariza find the bench more. He isnt there yet, as made obvious by Morey going after Wafer and Harris.
He is on a team full of great defenders and role models. He would be a fool not to take advantage of his environment.
True that. Hopefully he doesn't follow any of our permitters when it comes to the offensive end outside of Aaron Brooks.
disagree with ya. I think Taylor is obviously putting in a lot of effort in developing his defence. He keeps a nice low stance, is quick laterally and stays down on the pump fakes. He's such a good athlete with a big wingspan that he has all the tools needed to be a real good defender - let's hope he keeps it up.
Alright, all kidding aside and I'll take you up on it. I'll be paying attention over the next few games.
He's already a better man defender than Ariza. He's shown me enough (which admittedly does not have to be much at all) to want to see him take some of Trevor's minutes.
I've seen him look lost a few times in his limited minutes. He is a willing defender, knows thats the way he has to get in the lineup and puts in a good effort there. He'll just need more minutes to get used to the timing. Or some time in the D League if it had to come down to it. We need all the trade showcase we can get now
I don't think he's been particularly great on defense but he's been much better than he was in the preseason, if that's what you mean.
