    I love(d) Coastal Cookies (now Cookie Corner I think), and I was wondering who had the crispiest cookies in Houston. It could be off the shelf, a specific batter/mix, or shop

    coastal still around as cookie corner? even in sharpstown? i would probably risk going there to get some of that crispy goodness that they offer in those mini cookies.

    anyhow,

    mother's brand cookies... oatmeal flavor. stuff is delicious.

    Cookies that are barely baked in the oven and come out all soft and gewy are SO MUCH better! Mmmmmmmm!

    It shut down for a while. After new management in Sharpstown, it got brought back, but this time it's called Cookie Corner. It's the same place, and I've heard the cookies are exactly the same. Those cookies plus a Large Icee...doesn't get any better!

    And crispy cookies are better

    When I used to eat TV dinners, I would re-nuke that desert brownie an extra minute. If you manage not to burn it, it's like eating all edge.

    Them hungry man dinners? I'm so glad I learned to cook now, no more meatloaf with "brown" gravy, mash and a freakin' brownie. 1500 calories in a meal that's half filling, was good back then though.

    Yeah, this was in college and before I learned the glories of hydrogenated fats and high fructose corn syrup. Also had the entire daily fat intake for a bull and the sodium intake for a deer.

    Perfect cookies are crisp around the edge and get softer as you move towards the middle.
