If everyone remains relatively healthy and Yao does report then I predict a 50 win season.

The 2002-03 Rockets!!! The first team to ever win all 82 regular season games. Is it possible? I'd say so.oh well that's my prediction in a perfect world. Go Rockets!!!:D

I think I called 39-43 last year and was on the low side among the guesses but still turned out to be too optimistic.

For some reason, after preaching gloom and doom the last couple of seasons, I'm feeling lucky this time.

47-35 with a slow start, a sizzling hot finish, and a postseason to remember.

43 - 39 with the Rockets in the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed. There are too many questions for the upcoming season. Sure this team will be talented but can they win games. Chemistry, injuries, and ambition will all play a keep part of next season.

Realistically we will probably be out of the playoffs in the 1st or 2nd round. We will consider the season a sucessful one because we made the playoff.

I say 42-40, finishing as the 9th seed. We send Francis to the Lottery again, where he comes up big with the #1 pick, and we get LeBron James. We can always count on the Franchise to come through when it counts!

One problem I see with that is that we owe memphis or pick next
year. (I'm pretty sure about that.) If we managed to give them another 1st rounder, it would work, i guess. This is correct right?

It's too early for ANYONE to do the Win-Loss predictions on the schedule because none of the other teams are set, and pretty much everyone may have a big trade. Minny, Portland, Philly, Washington.....

What we can do is predict the full-season record based on our team. 50 wins. Nothing more, nothing less. This is with some typical injuries to some players, and expecting NOTHING but a once in a LONG while spark off the bench from Ming.

Too lazy to do W-L teams

    They will go 45-37. Undoubtedly.

We don't get to keep our #1 next year, that's for sure. Our only compensation is trading down one or two slots to give Memphis. If we win #1, we can give Memphis the #2 or #3 instead. With James as #1, that compensation from the teams w/ #2 or #3 could be pretty good actually.

But back on topic, I say 44-38, #8 seed in insanely tough West. Clippers and Jazz miss with above .500 records. Seattle 44-38, will beat us on tiebreaker to go #7. Portland & Minny both go 45-37, and the top four teams dominate as always.

    50-32.

This team is better than the one that won 45 two years ago.

I said 50-32 the last two years and I'm not changing now. I think they could win up to 55, but that would require playing defense.

On the bright side, each year it becomes easier for the Rockets to meet the goal I have set for them.

They will win 48 games. The early part of the season will seem shakey because of chemistry (prompting several posters to freak out and call for a trade of Ming, Taylor,Thomas or Cat. But the rockets wont do it.) chemistry will improve as the season progresses, eventually resulting in a playoff spot.

Top western playoff teams (in no particular order): Kings, Lakers, Mavs, Spurs...bringing up the rear (also in no particular order): Rockets, Jazz, Clips, Blazers....(no timberwolves, suns, etc)

During this whole TroyBarros thing, somebody mentioned to put in your signature if you were a Yao Ming backer or not. So I went ahead and put Yao on my signature. It's been there since.
    Did anyone else see it?
