Whatever, Tracy is really a superstar. He leave us too much to remember. Moreover, I think he is a good player without troubles outside the game. Indeed, I who is Chinese like him, though Yao is our favorite. ;)

The most Diva player the Rox ever had. Even more when you put divaness over accomplishments on the table.

    Then I'll remember:

    - The 41 point game against the Hornets.

    - The MVP Chants during the streak - the Rockets being the biggest story.

    - 13 points in 33 / Game 2 against Dallas / entire 2005 season

    - The three All-NBA seasons

    - How he carried us to the playoffs in 3 seasons, twice with a lack of supporting cast.

    - The countless amount of games in which we thought he was one of the best, i.e. clutch games against Sacramento, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Lakers.

Honestly, only last year was the year it turned on us (and this obviously), but aside from that, the memories of him have been good. Only the haters like to pretend they've wanted T-Mac gone ever since the time he's been a Rocket.

I saw some post, "this is the time I've been waiting for in years." That statement is utter BS, I'd bet he's the same person that chanted MVP for him during the 04-05, 06-07, and 07-08 seasons, all of which he finished in the Top 10 of Voting.

Though I will say, that the way he left the Rockets (or will leave) really makes you forget those memories in the end. In retrospect he will be a supreme talent that had some nice seasons, but ultimately accomplished nothing with this team. I just get kind of frustrating when people act like T-Mac has been nothing but bad for this franchise since he's been on it.

But it's definitely justified with what he did last season.

There was this one game in early 2005 vs Dallas. He and Dirk were going at it. They both nearly had 50 point games. Dallas won, but I figured that somewhere down the road, tmac would get his back. Sadly he never did, he had that dunk on the tall stiff...

That move he put on Giricek in the playoffs in game 7. He played his tail off that game. Gonna miss you mac. Good luck.

I will remember him for being the best player on the Rockets during his tenure with the team. He led us to the playoffs and was the main reason that the series were even close when he played in the playoffs. I know he was injured a lot but it is obvious that he didn't want to be injured. I use to think that he didn't really care that he wasn't playing but after the past few weeks, I've learned that it must of been killing him to sit on the bench in his suit. The man loves the game and I'm sure everyone in Houston loves him and will miss him.
Thank you Tracy McGrady for everything.

I think he is the best player we've had since Hakeem.

He was a road warrior who we could go off at any moment. Great court vision and ball handling skills. Long arms so he could board and his D was also good imo. Highly talented but not the most mentally strong player.

A player who gave it his all during playoff time but had tough luck with injuries to himself and Yao. Contrary to what Tinman thinks, he never had a great team to play with. Teams that could win 50 plus games but weren't talented enough to be considered true contenders. Kobe had Shaq in his prime and couldn't win squat until the terrible excuse of a franchise handed the Lakers Gasol.

Sadly, he will also be rememberd as a played in and out of the lineup with the back & knee issues. And one who couldn't keep his mouth shut and made ill-advised comments. He was too candid imo.

    Shawn Bradley Cowboy dunk.

3 play off series after the Steven Francis dribbacle.

    Injuries.

    The mental collapses.

    The micro-fracture surgery surprise.

    The whining. Oh, the whining.

13 points in 33 seconds, 22W streak, dunk on Shawn Bradley, 3-time All-Star, 62 points against the
Wizards etc. Those are the thing I will remember T-Mac for. He's a great player. I will miss him. :(

Drama queen and big mouth. A lot of the hate comes from him not being able to keep his damn mouth shut.
