I just hope Yao doesnt get treated the same way. It will be interesting to see how Adelman handles Yao.

After we see how Adelman handles Yao s situation we can evaluate if Adelman had a personal grudge against T-Mac. What are we going to do...give Yao 8 minutes a game HA HA. I think not.

Just maybe if they played T-mac there wouldn't have been garbage minutes vs the Cavs. Just maybe the game would have been more competitive.

If the Rockets had a losing record right now would Rick have such a hard time working him into the team? I am a Rockets fan and yes the organization is making a mistake with T-mac give him a chance to play the game.

Hmm, how did Adelman handle Yao in 07-08?? How did he handle him when he came back to start the 08-09 campaign?? Adelman will have no problems with Yao. Yao hasnt had anywhere near the in-n-out issues of T-Mac. He hasnt tried to come back too early midseason. Both injuries Adelman had to deal with regarding Yao were season ending. And both times he will be ready to come in at training camp.

Several other threads dealing with that situation. Above and probably below this one on the first page.

Tmac back-stabbed this franchise, he's just getting the same treatment. Yao would never back-stab this franchise, so why would the Rockets do it to them? Some of you need to understand how LOGIC works. Rockets have class, you Tmac fans don't.

Man i hope you are right. I just hope he doesnt go play for China over the summer. Again, that kinda being unfair to this organization. But i respect Yao because thats what he believes in...and well, its not like I or anybody else can stop him lol.

He won't handle Yao's situation the same way he has handled T-mac situation. He has brought Yao back from injury before.

Also some of you need to realize the Organization if fed up with T-mac act. Yao has not acted the same way.

You are totally missing the point that Adelman has been making. Show me where Adelman or Morey have ever said that they won't change the way we play. What Adelman said was that the Rockets can't run everything through McGrady and be successful. Adelman has said that the current team has to play a certain way to be successful. That doesn't mean he's not willing to make changes. It just means that he's not going to change to a less productive approach. If McGrady was in his prime, then Adelman wouldn't have a problem running things through him. The problem is that he's not the same player anymore.

When Yao comes back, there will be some changes, no doubt about that. Most of the things that they are doing now will still work with Yao. That's not true for McGrady. The most important point is that the additional things Yao will provide outweigh anything that we would lose when he comes back. It's just good decision making. If a change makes you better then you do it. If the change weakens you, then you don't do it. Simple as that.

I agree with you to some extent but dude these last games for Ariza have been just atrocious, horrible, and sickening. Ariza looks dead out there. His legs have no life. I wouldnt see anything wrong with Tracy playing 15-20 minutes a game to give Ariza a break. Its coming to the point to where Ariza is hurting us more than helping us.
