I got Netflix and watched my first streaming movie last night, Groundhog Day. It was pretty good. Can you guys recommend any good movies that are on video from say 2002 to 2009 to put in my queue? I currently have The hangover, bourne identity, Superbad and American Gangster in my queue.
I have instant queue at school and honestly there aren't many good movies to put on it. What I recommend is Lost lol. I got really addicted to it and fell into that lost crowd.
BTW, I wanted to mention that I never watch movies, so anything you suggest, I likely have not seen, save for a select few like Tropic Thunder, Semi-Pro, Any Given Sunday.... Up to this point, I've never cared for movies until now. ...and I have a huge dvd collection, but they are all rockets playoff games from the 1990s to now.
Juno, Wall-e, Kung Fu Panda, Walk the Line, Sweet Home Alabama, Sideways, Kicking and Screaming, Failure to Launch, Bee Movie, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Fool's Gold (anything with Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson is gonna be good), How to lose a guy in Ten Days
Just watched Inglorious Basterds and 500 Days of Summer this week. Both are good flicks worth checking out.
A few years ago, when I had nothing to do I started watching alot of Western European films on Netflix. One of the best ones I saw of recent years was this French film made in 2005 called: (13) Tzameti I won't describe the movie to you, but all I will say is mind blowing.
I meant they have good chemistry in Movies when they are paired together. At least I like watching them on film.
thats the great thing about netflix instant movies. you can really discover some interesting stuff on there if you look hard enough i would also recommend 13 tzameti. very film noir-ish. it is in black and white though. i would also recommend a movie called 'deadgirl' which you can also watch instantly. i had no expectations whatsoever but came away quite impressed.
Fight Club, Requiem for a dream, Wedding Crashers, Anchorman. I watched all four this weekend. Still love 'em all.
You will find a better movie selection on one of those Divx streaming sites. The quality will be the same as well.
