Thanks. Yeah, I'm not a fan of Ariza as our go to scorer. I don't think he's capable of that. I don't think he'll ever be anywhere close to an all-star caliber player. However, he's looked awful lately. And he isn't an awful player. He's a solid rotation guy. He needs his minutes reduced something awful. It's a shame Wafer didn't pass his physical.

Yes, because every other team has players who shoot 75% from the field who they can go to in the 3rd quarter. Aaron was 1 for 3 on three pointers in the 3rd quarter. Mo Williams was 3-3. For the game Mo was 4-6, while Aaron was 3-6.

Big difference there. Some folks just look for reasons to whine. Its a problem but I think everyone in the organization down to the ticket people at Toyota Center are aware of it.

yup, however, when he is gone, we really do need a guy that can replace his role. so far only tmac is capable of filling that role. I think that's why so many people on this board are b****ing about him not playing.

the truth is, I dont think Tmac is capable of being that core guy anymore. He is still a great player, but not as a guy that can carry the team

I"ve been a Rockets fan for the duration (35yrs) and my post said TMAC or a comparable player. We actually would have beaten LA in my opinion with a healthy YAO (PLAYMAKER) or someone who commands the double (YAO)! Stop hangin your hat on moral victories. We played out of our minds lasy year, that's why we melted in game 7.

We also had Ron Artest and Yao Ming.

This team can definitely use Tracy McGrady. If Rick keeps piling up the minutes on his players like this, everyone is gonna be hurt by the ending of the season.

When Mac is in the game the offense is a little better but the D suffers. The D has suffered a lot all year. RA needs to see how this team plays with a good 15 to 20 minutes from Mac or hurry and trade the guy. I don't give a Damn personally about any of our players, we need to win now. We surely aren't goin anywhere with players who will be tired as hell come playoff time.

We need to run much more plays for Scola, who is most stable scorer on the team so far. Try to integrate Hynes more into offense.

That's a blow to some really good players on this team. If you ask D Wade, Kobe or LBJ, they would take this suppoting cast and feel as though they could win it all with it. We are not that far away.

Did you watch game seven against the lakers???!!!

I don't understand why you all make such a big deal about one series win or loss. There's a thousand factors, including luck, that determine who ends up winning. Any asset we can have that improves us is need to better those chances. Right now our chances suck, plain and simple.

AGREED on both points, especially Scola. He can put up serious numbers for us. He usually is scoring in the paint with more than one guy around him.

Firstly we must find out what is our coach upto!!
Is he developing a team of smaller role Players who can play the up tempo game with great chemistry- no stars- no players looking for their own shot, just a balanced team who would possibly make the playoffs ever year but nevr be contenders.
This is my personal impression of our team, especially since the Coach is not going to give Tracy McGrady a chance to get into playing shape.
Likewise i dont see how Yao ming will fit into this without game plan changes,
will our coach be able to find minutes for Yao or will he be encouraged like McGrady to look elswhere?

Secondly what is the overall plan of the Team Manager Morey?
Is he trying to develop a run & gun team or is he interested in a team that can run & gun but sometimes plays the tradition way? Will he have star players, who demand playing time and who watch their stats? Can the future team accommodate stars like Yao, Bosh, Martin, Wade or Lebron or even Tracy McGrady?
Is the big man's game of Basketball a thing of the past, or does it depend on the coaching strengths of the Coach in power?:p

Another great coaching job by everyones favorite coach Rick Adleman. Ok were down 3 after the half Lebron hits two threes in a row rockets down 9 time for a timeout right ????????? nope two more threes by mo williams game over. We could of been in this game its not brain surgery Rick call the timeout after bron put em up nine put Landry aka our best player back in the game and lets go instead we wait until 2 minutes left in the 3rd to put landry back in the game by this time game over also why in the world did david Anderson get in the game before landry did in the third. This is ridiculous but of course all of the adleman fan club will say how stupid my post really is because everything coach Rick does is magic

Bad loss, expected a win, but expected it to be more competitive than that. Got murdered on the boards, had too many turnovers, and shot 32% from the field on the road. Anything less than a 25 point loss would have been been a miracle.

Have a question, not sure if this is the right thread, but why does Adelman constantly keep Ariza in the game, nothing against anybody, I like Ariza and think he'll get better, but the man plays over 40 minutes a game, and looks exhausted, especially on back to backs. It was done to Yao, and now he's missing a season because of his feet being so worn out. Is Adelman trying to do the same thing to Ariza? I've wondered if thats why he's in a slump, is because of to much playing time.
