So now is a business so T-mac wanting to play more because is a contract year is selfish, but GM playing low to save $$$ is a business.

Can you be more hypocrite pls

The only thing I remember was something with the Wizards, but it was never very clear.

Then it works both ways. How come the players usually end up taking the blame? If a player makes any 'moves', he is most likely being called a selfish b*stard.

Actually HTown, I think Tmac getting microfracture was smart on his part, he did it on the companies nickel/dime and while under contract.

However, he could have worked it much more intelligently and kept them involved and been a professional about it.

And because he did not do that, he deserves everything he gets.

No, this is incorrect, they are trying to :

    A. Win ball games
    B. Develop players
    C. Build chemistry

Tracy hurts all 3 right now.

Come on T-Mac fans be real.....if the guy was out there busting the other team up, don't you think that Adelman would be playing him? He would be forced to play him.......

Adelman wants to win, but what a lot of you guys don't realize or are unwilling to recognize is that right now, Tracy does NOT help the team win ball games, he is just not the player he once was, and the organization does not benefit by giving him the playing time he needs to get there.

His time has passed here in Houston.

I think he is talking about the trade that would have sent him to New Jersey for Vince Carter. I guess fillers would have been involved also.

Well if he played 35min at that rate he would had 35pts and 13Ast, as think that is a High Bar, don't you think. that is in the 30 million range there.

the tmac experiment > ariza experiment. we all know what ariza can and cannot do, but apparently we're still experimenting with him and he's getting progressively worse.

So, putting him in when another wing is stinking it up wont be a good thing? Give it a shot.. Like the previous game where Ariza was sucking.. Throw t-mac in to see if he could do better. If not continue on with regualr rotation.

The fact that you guys dont even want to give a shot to SEE if he makes them worse, or is not hurting is r****ded... He could infact make us better. Try it out when another wing is sucking.

1 out of 6 games...that is really something.

Well, since according to you I am a hypocrite, I am not going to bother finding those videos kiddo....but hey...feel free to look at the threads Clutch posted and see for yourself.

And, if you think the guy is busting his ass, then you are just not being honest.

Sorry to bump the thread but I always see people making comments about the NBA being a business when the team make their moves . People here want to believe that T-mac had surgery just to make a trade fail which is crazy in my opinion because no one would want to have surgery and one that could end his career ...

Anyway what if T-MAC really wanted to make the trade fail because Houston is a great place for him to be . Its nothing personal just a business decision because being in Houston is the best situation for him .(hint the chinese fans)

Its just business yet people get mad at him . (even though i think it is insane)

Don't you think it's just a wee bit selfish to be putting a team mired in the middle of a meaningless season before a man's livelihood? Honestly I think some of the posters here are so full of themselves. This is Tracy's career on the line we're talking about. The guy never went to college in case you haven't followed - how else is he gonna feed his kids?

Its the way they are handling the situation is what I am getting at. You can give T-Mac a few more minutes, because you have no idea if he would help the team, build chemistry, or make other played better. It was clear to me when T-Mac was in the game Ariza played better. I just personally know that when minutes are too limited, its hard to work on something.

dude seriously, try to act your age.

    1) if yao struggles during his comeback, are you going to be offended that he gets more minutes every game b/c it takes time away from the more "deserving" players?
    2) if yao can't keep up with the pace, are you going to be offended that he's playing?

just trying to ask the same questions you ask.

See I disagree, if he was hustling or busting his butt during those 8 minutes even if he were getting beat on the wings etc, I think he would still be playing.

However, I think the coaching staff saw a lot of the same things I see, which is him loafing back on D, not getting out to contest jumpers, not moving that well on offense, the offense stagnating when he is in there...

He just doesn't help the team win any more.....his time has passed him by....better to run with healthy players who have bought into the system and will be here next year.

Just a sound business decision IMO.
