Adelman is saying one thing, Morey another. They are part of creating the distraction this time around.

Anyway, you will get your wish it appear. T-mac will be gone. But I tell you, in hindsight, trading t-mac away or buying him out will always hang over us like an albatross for years to come if we don't win a ring and t-mac wins with another team.

You can't find his kind of playmaking abilities very easily. Sometimes you have to put up with a prima donna because the do bring something to the team.

There are plenty of cases of this in sports. Dennis Rodman, Manny Ramirez, Deon Sander and the list will go on and on. Tons of guys who take it off on plays, who think they are gods, who are arrogant and pissy.

Guess what, they still can win rings and bring something to a team. Do I like T-mac's personality and the way he talks? No. I cringe everytime he speaks. There's a lot of things I'd like to change about him.

But the devil can help us...that much I recognize. Dumping him is a mistake. What he does on offense no one else can do. How many 4th qtrs have we moans and growned at the plays and decision making of Ariza or Brooks?

How many times have we seen terrible shots or turnovers?

we all know that t-mac can get a good shot off - a makable shot, and he can also create easy shots for others. That's what you need in the 4th qtr. That's what you need in tight playoff games on the road.

Who will replace that? This princeton offense doesn't work in the NBA. What team has won an NBA championship playing the Princeton offense???

    ZERO!

    There's a reason for that.

ugh...it's a player's league. so a lot of superstars haven't done this? do you want me to name a list?

kobe, vince, shaq, amare, now wade just some of the current players. and ugh...look at freakin' brett farve, who's the MASTER of undermining everyone. let's not think that tracy is the worst of them all here.

again, i've always agreed with you that tracy can be a little b****tch when he opens his mouth. what i'm saying is the organization is causing the same drama tracy caused last year.

    To Lou and T-Mac1

You put up with superstar players when they can perform at that level.

And you JETTISON them when they can't.

exactly. that can only causes more confusion, and more drama, when your 2 biggest faces of the organization are saying 2 different things to the media.

again, hopefully we will trade tmac soon or just sit him out completely until a trade is completed.

Very good decision. Good Job DM

Do not let a player hijack the team. It's so stupid to think TMAC is helping the team. The fact is the team is helping him comeback !!!! He will never be a leading role in a championship run in any team. Cant imagine to see someone thought him a key to us for the championship run

Lets enjoy the current Rox play run and gun

All you t-mac supporters, have you not realized already that he needs to dominate the ball to be successful? and every time he gets the ball everybody just stands around and watches? he needs to go now

I just hope Rockets don't settle thinking we have a chance to win a championship with just this cast and yao, because when we play the lakers and they play defense the way they did in that gm7 trapping brooks... we will be in trouble unless we can get another wing capable of making plays or scoring the ball.

morey is a good gm, but the guy has totally bought into his own hype and has been come a real prick who tries to make himself bigger than the team.

why does he inject himself into this and make himself part of the player minutes decision? what other gm would even comment on this matter?

    I like this move.

The second T-mac puts himself above the team sit his ass down.

This team is more important to the Rocket's future than one "superstar".

Again, if he would just shut up and prove it like Yao does there would be no issues. If he would go out and play hard - team ball - there would be no issues.

Instead he is whining about playing time when the Rockets have done all they can for T-mouth since the day he arrived.

It isn't all "on him". With T-mac it is "all about him".

    PLAYERS can PLAY.

You know, PLAY as in running back on DEFENSE, shooting REASONABLE PERCENTAGE. PLAY as in doing something to contribute to WINNING!

    It's a PLAYERS' League, sure.

TRADEY has not been a PLAYER for QUITE SOME TIME.

Nothing stinky about it. The Rockets are doing what is best for them. He WILL be traded, hopefully sooner than later. They cannot risk him having any type of setback. Playing more minutes does just that.

Not a circus at all. It is good judgment by the Rockets.

Those of you who are making this a personal vendetta by Adelman against McGrady are missing the boat entirely. It's an organizational decision and the Rockets have decided they will part ways with McGrady. A trade is most likely but I wouldn't completely rule out a buyout. Just understand that Adelman, Morey and Les Alexander are in this together so don't waste your time aiming at Adelman.

McGrady has no future here. He is a dead Rocket walking. Get over it and prepare your mind for life without him. It's coming soon. IMO, McGrady made his bed last season with his antics and has no one to blame but himself for how the Rockets organization feels about him. And the way the team came together without him last season and this season cemented things.

I can't wait until he's gone so people will stop babbling about him.

Sweet Lou 4 2, your hyperbole to the nth degree (trading t-mac away or buying him out will always hang over us like an albatross for years to come if we don't win a ring and t-mac wins with another team) is complete nonsense. It's best for both sides if McGrady leaves. He needs to go somewhere else to get a fresh start. If he finds a good situation, fine and dandy. But just know that T-Mac is dead and gone. If McGrady can fit into a good role on a championship contender and help push them over the top, good for him. It ain't happening here and there will be no "albatross". What a joke.

He helped win 22 consecutive games. He carried this team when Yao was out.
You can't win without stars on the league.

Why on earth would any star level player come here if morey is low balling everyone and RA is isoing his stars.

The only guys who will come here are people we make stupid promises to aka ariza.
