I think the Rockets are just being cautious...nothing more nothing less. People are reading way too much into it. IF Adelman wasn't happy with the effort, T-mac would know about it. Everyone would know. Adelman is just being very cautious. I think T-mac's minutes will increase fairly soon, but remember - Adelman is managing a player back from MFS. Also keep in mind that Adelman said he wasn't going to play t-mac and then re-considered and played him - so it's clear that adelman isn't going to show all his cards to the media. He's being tight-lipped and all we can do is speculate. We'll see what happens, but I think t-macs minutes will increase in the new year.
Stop hating! Tracy was on our team last year so he gets credit for the second round appearance. Vince Carter has some of his genes floating around inside of him so *technically* T-Mac had already been to the second round!!! He also used to play for Orlando and they went to the Finals last season, so in a way, he's even been to the Finals! Finals > conference semis How's that crow taste? Suck it haters!
How rude this poster is!! Adelman needs to get on with it and gradually extend Tracy's playing time. Tracy needs to gain confidence, this he will not find if he only plays 7 and a half mins.
Nothing will overcome T-bag's mental handicaps. I see Kobe playing with a broken finger and still playing every possession on offense and defense. Displaying the heart of a champion. All T-mac has displayed is the mouth of someone with physical talent who would like very much for a championship to be handed to him.
Like I said Adelman is the one making this a big issue because he isn't being up front with him, saying I want to see him play after he's played 4-5 games already doesn't make any sense. He seen the guy play in practices and in recent games, just tell the guy what you want from to be exact or what his plans for him in the future, this is why the situation will only get worse because their both just talking to the media about the situation instead of each other.
I've had crow before and I'm sure I will eat crow again in my lifetime. This doesn't taste like crow. It tastes more like rationalizing. I can tell you probably failed psychology 101 and philosophy 101 in school.
You mean the Adelman that T-mac said told him straight up it was going to be 7-8 minutes a game for a while? And that T-mac agreed that was the way it was going to be before again spouting off to the media? The sooner we trade away the drama the better.
What are you smoking? Adelman has been 100% consistent.......he has told McGrady what he wants to see, he has told him what he needs to do to get on the floor. The problem is that TMac. nor his fans, want to accept it. Adelman has said the problem is not on offense - it is on defense - STILL IS Adelman has said he lacks explosion - STILL DOES Adelman has said he doesn't want to mess up the chemistry - STILL DOESN'T Adelman has said he is not sure Tmac fits the style the team is playing - STILL DOESN'T There is nothing Adelman has said that is not consistent....NOTHING. Tracy just doesn't want to hear it.....he is a prima donna player, why should he have to work as hard as the rest of the team on defense? SHEESH ! More LUNACY..... Morey has consistently backed up Adelman....... Man...you T-groupies will say anything to protect your guy.... UN- fricken - REAL ! DD
I feel like once T-Mac is off the team the entire city of houston will have the world off their shoulders.
I just think its funny you posted about consistency in a thread where Adelmans says there will be no change, while at the exact moment a Chron article is dropped about a change.
The guy is evidently not healthy enough or in NBA shape to play. From a basketball standpoint, why play him in the first place? The rockets tried this last season. From a business perspective, I see why he is playing limited minutes.
There is significant irony in that...but the post and what they say still stands. They said he would play 6ish games and be re-evaluated...it is about that time, isn't it? Ironically, they may come back and say...."Ok, this is not working out, and either up his minutes significantly, or sit him" It could go either way IMO. DD
adelman: we're going to keep this strategy of playing tmac in limited minutes. morey: no, we're going to sit him and talk about it.
Of course your post stands. The sun could explode and you'd still head to the beach to catch some rays! You don't even realize you are a t-mac hater - that's the funny thing.
I am a TMac hater....can't stand the guy...think he is 100% cancerous.... What is there to not recognize? I want him gone on the first train out of town. That doesn't mean I won't praise him, but I also call a jake a jake...and he is a jake.... A quitter, a loser, an excuse maker, a guy who coasts.....we don't need that on this hard working team. Oh, he could get by before because he had some serious talent, right now, he doesn't have that talent, but acts like he does. The day he is gone, will be a GREAT day for the Rockets organization, it is just that some fans won't realize it until much later. DD
haha. I was about to predict that he was randomly not gonna play and miss a game. I should have posted it. Now when he plays next he will play more than 8 minutes. This essentially confirms my earlier belief. There is something going on with the insurance
